LOL im into my 3rd week of school atm, you guys start pretty late
It seems Valor is actually Wisdom.
Well Tobi fought Minato and was 174 cm [his final height] whereas Kakashi and Guy wasn't near his final height[181 cm and 184 cm resp.] also Tobi had the voice of much older man.
Kishi also deliberately made Tobi of same height and weight as Izuna so it'd throw everyone off course, Kishi also showed that Tobi had another eye [Izanagi] and his connections with Nagato [same age as Minato according to manga time like]Danzou and Orochimaru were ambiguous. All in all the age [and his knowledge] didn't fit and that's why everyone thought it wasn't Obito.
It could have easily been anyone :| Kishi just likes to f**k with our minds
As we are fast approaching the first year anniversary of Tobi's reveal, I would like to point out something: Tobi being Obito was obvious from the start: one-eyed mask, appearing after Kakashi Gaiden, rearranging the letters of Tobi's name and adding an "o" making it Obito, Kamui power like Kakashi's MS which belonged to Obito, artificial half body (the side which got crushed by the boulder) etc. it was so obvious but why did others speculate Tobi to be Izuna, Shisui, Kagami or Sasuke from the future? It was so obvious that he was Obito from the start.
@Tebow, I think it was very obvious after the 6th coffin reveal. Who else relevant to the plot could be Tobi? Sure isn't Izuna since he isn't even a secondary character. Maybe Derp was referring to the period of speculation after the Coffin reveal.
Before the Coffin reveal, there were way too many things pointing to Tobi being Madara. Kisime seeing Tobi without his mask and calling Tobi Madara, Kabuto referring to Tobi as Madara even when no one was around, Tobi telling Kabuto that the mindless Hashi clone was cultivated from his battle at VOTE. etc
Right, exactly. That is what bothers me. The reveal of Tobi almost felt like a, "Okay, I'll make him Obito, and then fill in the spaces later...I guess the readers will just have to overlook some stuff." And again, I liked it was Obito, I really do think he was the best choice. But what I don't like was the way he went about trying to make us think it was actually Madara. Let Tobi say over and over, "I'm Madara!" Put plot devices in there that would help the reader arrive at the conclusion Tobi=Madara on their own. But when have things like we both mentioned. It really almost seems like lack of effort or too much effort resulting from an over obsession with getting the reader to believe what Kishi wanted us to believe...
