[Discussion] Tobi's despair?

Tobi states he is nobody and is not planning to be anybody. This sounds like he is seeking vengeance from something that has happened in the past.

Tobi also talks about despair, and how Naruto & B should understand what despair is, even to a small extent. Which could signify that he has gone through a massive amount of pain throughout his life, and when compared to Naruto's pain, makes Naruto look like he has had the best childhood ever.

So what I'm saying is, Tobi is someone who i seeking vengeance from despair, from terror, the past has riddled his mind to turn him into the mad man that he is, but... what could have happened?
- Was it the death of a loved one(s) - Madara Uchiha? - which could relate to the fact that he could be Izuna or someone that experienced immense pain during either their early years - young adulthood

- Someone who has been shunned by the people around them, kind of like Nagato, but to a higher degree?

We know he just doesn't want do destruct Konoha, he literally wants the world under his control. Plus on top of that, he is an extremely skilled shinobi, which expands the mystery of Tobi even further than it already was, confusing people even more?!

It could be Kagami, he was in the 1st shinobi world, a lot of his comarades died and alot of people think he is dead, but we dont really know if that is true or not.

Yeah that could be true, plus the fact that Kishi did not show Kagamis reaction nor any comradeship to Hiruzen or anyone else who took part of the mission after Hiruzen was elected Third Hokage, could lead to something else if we think outside the box.

Yeah, unlike you I'm stuck and don't really know who it could be. I have evidence that could suggest whether it's Kagami, Izuna etc. But the evidence has messed up my mind and now I'm just stuck in a loop and hope it's someone which the evidence can actually relate to.

Shell of his former self due to splitting the Ten-tails and maybe he managed to survive but didn't want to reveal his identity because he was weak and ashamed of his sons turning against each other. He wants revenge and is in despair because his two sons didn't bring peace to the world like he wanted. Also, the fact that ninjas are abusing the use of what he started (ninjas and techniques?) just to use it for power and cause wars could be causing him pain. Now he has decided to control everyone (using the Eye of the Moon plan) because after all the pain and despair he has been put through, he has realised that true peace is no longer achievable.

That is what I think could be the reasons behind his actions, and obviously his identity... which constantly links to despair.

well this is wrong becuase there is no need for hashirama cellls if he already has that power.

There could be something much bigger involving tobi's true identity then what we know now.THhe big question is how can he actually make a living being zetsu with t2 personalties.If danzo cuouldn't use izangi to create things than i doubt a uchiha with just one bloodline can create a living being like zetsu by himself with izangi.SO zetsu true way of being developed could tel us who tobi really is.

THere really no information telling us if he's from this time because otbi knows everything so far from the hokage sealing, to finding people chakra signatures and he's a great strategizers even fooling itachi making itachi having a shocked face, so not even itachi knows who tobi really is.

Kabuto may know he's not madara but he may not know what his secret identity even is.
