That is the best explanation for why Tobi started with the Kyuubi. +rep.

Also, Tobi appears to have a summoning contract with the Kyuubi. And he's also able to control the Kyuubi. So it would have made a great summoning for Tobi. And would have helped tremendously in capturing the rest of the Bijuu.

This makes me wonder.

When did Tobi establish a summoning contract with the Kyuubi anyway? The Kyuubi's been sealed away inside different Jinchuurikis since the Battle at the Valley of the End. If Tobi does have a contract with the Kyuubi then it could only have been established before Mito sealed the Kyuubi within herself. That would make Tobi reeeaaalllyyyy old. About as old as Madara would have been.

Or was he mearly using the real Madara's blood to summon Kurama. I say this because Kabuto once used Orochimaru's blood to summon Manda on Oro's behalf (Oro's arms were useless.).

That's a great question. Answering it could definitely bring some light upon who he might really be.

huh??? That doesn't make sense. Tobi wants Uchiha to be blamed because he wants to steal all the sharingan eye during the Uchiha Massacre and thats why in Tobi's lab has 63 sharingan.Danzo didn't trust tobi and U can see tobi hates the leaf village when fighting Naruto squad 8 lol

I hate it when people make baseless statements such as these. Madara wasn't even alive to form Akatsuki with Yahiko. Second part about the Uchiha I agree with though.

I agree with your analysis almost totally, except for the relationship of command between Tobi and Madara. We still don't know who was in charge, but the fact that they had "different" versions of the moon eye plan seems now obvious. They collaborated some time in the past, we still don't know when and how exactly Nagato was involved (in getting the Rinnegan).
In fact, I'm quite sure Madara will go against Tobi, he still seems very interested in taking the Nine-Tails (of course he still doesn't know Tobi revived the Juubi in imperfect form) and who knows what could do when he discovers Naruto has now parts of chakra from the other Tailed Beasts.
Tobi and Madara cannot of course be together in managing the IT. And they do not seem the kind of villain eager to share absolute power.
Not sure, at last, about the real need for Sasuke in Tobi's plan. Could be he needs his body as it was for Orochimaru.

Read that chapter again and you'll see that Tobi already gave a reason for attacking Konoha and freeing Kurama. Tobi said he wanted to start a war (and rule the world). Its been implied that the jinchuurikis exist to maintain a "balance of power" between the Shinobi nations. Hashirama captured and gave away the Bijuus to create that "balace of power". Minato also said that upsetting that balance could trigger war and potentially end in the destruction of Konoha. Minato considered Konaha's potential loss of the Kyuubi as upsetting that "balance".

Tobi knew that simply freeing the Kyuubi and crippling Konoha would be enough to potentially trigger a Shinobi world war.

Good theory. It makes alot of sense but theirs one flaw with your theory though. You say madara ordered tobi to attack the leaf when madara died during the second great war. Madara said he awakened the rinnegan shortly before his death and nagato had his rinnegan when he was still a child during the second war. Its kind of weird because madara supposedly died 20 years before the kyuubi attack at most.
