The truth is Madara was a distraction to Obito's plan, he clearly never wanted to revive Madara and was surprised when Kabuto offered him as a token of friendship.
He was prepared to start a war on his own, and become the juubi jin as soon as possible, which was almost foiled by Madara, had he known that the sign for Rinne tensei was different from what Obito was doing.

U guy's are forgoting smthng ...If there is no FTG,Tobirama would have died during the fight with Izuna ,If there is no Tobirama then there is no reason for Madara to leave village...

He was doing fine with the whole time, even without Madaras help. Besides he doesn't need to confront all of them at the same time. He could just teleport somewhere else, wait for the Juubi to finish transforming then come back to be the Juubi jin. Madara was really not needed.

2. Shadow clone: Naruto wouldn't have come up with a solution to save the alliance from the the 4 biju bombs + barrier.

3. FTG: Minato wouldn't be Yellowflash without it, and it's half of the reason why naruto's plan last chapter worked.

Yes people have improved upon these techniques, but to actually invent new techniques without a reference is harder than improving an already existing jutsu. Without Tobirama being born or inventing these techniques everyone would have died last chapter already.

Would not be a real war if Tobirama would have kept his Edo Tensei secret.
Tobirama making the shadow clone jutsu did do wonders for Naruto since he can't go through a whole fight without using it.
Itachi also did a great part in the war by sending most of the edo's home..
