Idk if anyone else has read it but on Gojou Kibaku Fuda's page, it says "To try and escape death, living flesh may also be used as a medium to execute the technique, nonetheless, it's an explosive ninjutsu that risks one's life."


Looks like Tobirama may have tagged one of the squad and willingly stayed in the explosion. A self-sacrificing tactic that catches the enemies off-guard (they would have assumed that Tobirama was tricking them because nobody expects one to willingly end their own life but then were surprised to see when it did go kaboom.)

So, Tobirama was a fan of playing tag apparently. All those Elite Jounin were well and truly tagged.

Note the majority of the people you listed had modifications made to them. Tobirama was in base mode. Would any of the others have lived in base modes. Probably , probably not.

20 ninjas on the level of kitsuchi, Chiyo, sharingan kakashi, mifune etc etc. remember rank doesn't determine how strong a ninja is, the can only be one kage at a time, but many ninjas on the same level or stronger existing in a village. I.e. Guy is elite joinin but can be god level in an instant!
