The seals are for FTG the most important Tool. Minato benefits also Uzumaki-Seals , do you think they have the same FEATS like Tobirama's ''normal'' seals ? I dont think so.
Cuz of Minato's Tools Tobirama was able to perform this FEAT.

Do you really think he were able to do , this again with his own Tools ? Until he does not show it, with his Tools . I will stand by my opinion.

The why he should not be able to perform Edo Tensei ??
Orochimaru had already said it is really easy to learn , and Minato has already mastered a lot heavier Jutsu of Tobirama. Then he should of course be able to use Edo Tensei
Even if Kabuto and Orochimaru has learned it ^^ Minato has surely more talent to mastered it =D

if being linked with Minato's kunai increases Tobirama's proficiency as you say, why did he claim to still have a limit to the people he can teleport???, despite him linking himself to Minato's kunai?

To teleport more people is the Power of Minato.It has nothing to do with seal.
Minato's seals seems just to have a wide radius, where you can choose where you want to come out. The seals can not have more FEATS as this (my opinion) . And that you can not just link with them, without to ask the user (Minato) . =D
What did you think, what for FEATS the seals have ^^
