Tobirama's fighting style

Don't know if it's just me but i find Tobirama's development kind of weird. Wasn't he supposed to be a superior water style user? Why do i get the feeling Kishi changed Tobirama's development for plot purposes then? So far Tobirama has been portrayed more of a Hiraishin user(like Minato) than a water style user. There can be some differences in terms of utilisation or variants, but all i see Tobirama do currently is Hiraishin this and Hiraishin that. I can't help myself to get over the feeling that it was kind of strange idea and development here

Giving Tobirama Hiraishin all of sudden is one thing, but making it as if it was his entire fighting style is another. I really hoped to see some new suiton variants according to his hype on the matter, but so far it's all disappointed for me concerning it. I thought maybe Kishi would show it in following chapters, but the way things are going it doesn't seem like it. To live up his hype, Kishi could have inserted some panels showing some awesome Suiton moves, but no he didn't, even in FB. Even in his fb during his fights against Izuna i don't remember to have seen even a drop of water during their fights, all i saw was another Hiraishin use, said technique that helped him to kill him

So it does seem that Tobirama is even more of a hiraishin user in his fighting style than really a suiton user, at least so far he has been portrayed as so currently, but maybe it's just me?

At one point in the manga, Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage. Maybe Kishi changed that too...?

Truth is since he's a Kage he knows that Water techniques will be pointless in the battle. Therfore he's using techniques that will be most beneficial which happen to be Hiraishin techs. Also just because he's not using water style doesn't mean that he's not as good at using it as everyone always says. He's just fighting smart, that's all.

In this situation, he shouldn't use Suiton at all.

But I think he still is a Suiton master because Kishi knows if he removes that from Tobirama, he'd be too similar to Minato.

i think tobirama is most versatile fighter in the manga
since he is up against juubito water style is useless
hence he is using most appropriate ftg and some edo tensei style fighting.
gotta love the way he is dealing with the situation

I bet Kishi's going to do the thing where he only makes him use 1 water tech and have it be an absolutely ridiculously powerful one. He's just building up hype for that moment.

Don't you know Tobirama made up hiraishin techs, which became the basis for Minato's FTG, and other techs such as body flicker technique.

hummm i'm not really sure but i know he fast i think he fight a bit like 1 hokage and 4th hokage.from light to hard very fast. 4th only use light move but they fast. i can tell and 1 hokage use hard buz of his power and wood and some what very fast him self but not faster then 2 hokage.

Kisame is the best suiton user in the series.If Tobirama can beat Kisame maybe then i'll admit that he lived up to this so called suiton hype.

He really is...I mean as far as core fighting styles he has:

1. Suiton

2. FTG

3. Edo Tensei

4. Kenjutsu

5. Taijutsu

and then you can add on the fact that he can easily switch between the at will, makes it impossible to establish or figure out his combat pattern.

Kisame is the best suiton user in the series.If Tobirama can beat Kisame maybe then i'll admit that he lived up to this so called suiton hype.

Yet another reason I'd like to see his suiton. Kisame is currently the Suiton God.... so I'd like to see them realize his full suiton mastery so we can finally see which of these two were truly the most potent Suiton Users.
