Although not stated outright that Tobirama was talking about the FTG (which could've been a translation error), it was heavily implied that he was.

Seeing as Tobirama hasn't had any mentioned/shown feats with the Body Flicker, we can infer that he was, indeed talking about Minato's FTG. I really can't remember EVER reading that Tobirama had any great Body Flicker feats like Minato or Shisui.

Minato has also applied it to Kunai as well, which Tobirama hasn't done.

Whatever about the kunai thing. It's just about battle stylle. My point is their FGT is equal. Tobirama clearly said "shunshin", there's no implying. So every scan is mistaking (mangapanda, *********** etc..) It's not a mistake. He was talking about shunshin. That implies that Tobirama was known to be a fast shunshin user but that Minato is faster. But with FGT, they are the same.

This chapter was just so badass with Tobirama!

JUST USE SUITON DAMNIT!

OT: Yeah...they are now confirmed to be basically equal as far as the technique goes. Minato probably has more variety in its use because he focused his style on it.

Hmm I still say Minato's is better. In that combo they did Minato's work was most impressive. All Tobirama did was seemingly use Shunshin to get to Minato's bomb and Hiraishin to teleport the bomb back. He already said who's shunshin was better and him marking Juubito by surprise was cool but then again he's the only one who touched him at that point and I don't even think Juubito was even trying to avoid him really.

Feat wise Minato still seems better. He did manage to get hit with that combo attack and teleport it to Juubito before he ended up being burnt to a crisp himself. That takes some serious speed and is more impressive to me than what Tobirama did

But again this is feat wise and that can be misleading because until now we didn't even know that Tobirama had a version of hiraishin that involved seals so they could be equal or he could be better we just haven't seen enough of Tobirama yet.

And also I think the FTG technique has been called hiraishin and shunshin before in the manga for some reason. I think Rin called it shunshin and someone else did that too so I don't know what the difference is really.

Shunshin is what Raikage used to dodge amaterasu. It's a technique that enhances your speed for an instant. Hiraishin is a teleportation technique where the user can go to a previously marked place.

I mean, minato has ftg lvl 2, so its safe to say that he improved on it.

Well that could be true. But even though, it doesn't mean that lvl 2 is faster. Lvl 2 is using FGT with a moving object that's all. There's no boost in speed since all FGT are instant

I agree. Minato has more FGT jutsus but it doesn't mean they are faster than Tobirama's since all FGT are instant (even the fodder guards' hiraishin)

but yeah, JUST USE SUITON DAMNIT!

It's space-time. Speed of light. You can't go faster than the speed of light. Minato FTG = Tobirama FTG. Minato's base speed is just faster and he further developed the technique into more complex patterns. Stop arguing that Minato's speed of light is faster than Tobirama's speed of light!

Why would they be different ? People take that page to say that Tobirama admitted Minato's was better
You must be registered for see images

but all I see is him admitting that Minato's shunshin is better.

Shunshin --> body flicker ( shunshin no shisui anyone ?)

Hiraishin --> Flying Thunder God

So to all of you Minato fanboys, stop it. They are on the same level with FGT.

FTG level 2 solo's..........................

Their FTG is equal, the experience of using it, is not. Though we have seen from the one fight Tobirama did haven against Izuna that he does use it in combat, though it's impossible to say his fighting style entirely revolves around it.

Both FTG's are the same. It's just how the jutsu user deploys it. Using kunais and bodyflicker, Minato's FTG compliments his natural speed and reflexes. Tobirama, who self admitted, is slower in the bodyflicker, would still be slower with FTG.

Lets say they both had to get from point A to Point B. Point B has both their sealing marks. They would get there at the same time using FTG because it's instant teleportation (don't know if this is an actual word). Now lets say they go from point A to point B again. But this time their marks are not on point B but a good distance from it. They would use FTG to get to their marks, but Minato has the advantage because his bodyflicker is faster. He could also throw his kunai to use FTG again to travel even closer. That's not to say Tobirama can't do the same with his markings. Of course they both can cheat and mark each other to teleport one another to a point farther away from point B.
