So I actually thought Tobirama was killed by kinkaku and ginkaku... Bt narutopedia says otherwise,when he went as a decoy,it was against 20 elite shinobis from d hidden cloud called the kinkaku force.. Tobirama actually fought kin and gin.. Bt it was during a coup d'etat by d 2nd raikage.. Bt Tobirama barely survived against kin,gin and 2nd raikage but lost to 20 shinobis?... Minato also stopped kin and gin wen he rescued kushina after she was kidnapped and also killed 1000 armies from iwagakure whose military force was compared to that of d hidden cloud at that time... There hav to b another story behind tobirama's death.. If not,minato is waay stronger than tobirama then...

Mate, Minato didn't stop Kingaku and Ginkaku ...he just stopped some hidden cloud shinobi's from kidnapping Kushina.

Tobirama faced 20 elite who's to say these twenty ninja only consisted of jounin maybe it had highly battle harden ninja maybe 9kakashis and11gais no way tobirama could stop that level of oppnets nor minito did u forget that tobirama had prime hiruzen Danzo kagami uchiha and a akamichi member with him

There are certain things that kishi did to keep manga going and one of them was tobirama's death....! he is a side character and kishi hasn't even revealed yet how madara escaped at VOTE ( the main opponent) and tobirama's death was something that wasn't really relevant....
