Keep in mind you will be limited in what you can do right now but as you further your training with your Senpais and Senseis, you will be able to do more (and so will I >_>). I will also be sharing some strategy with you and help you become the best Peniguin you can....un...I mean Tobirama you can be. Just keep and open mind and feel free to ask me questions but make sure they are addressed as OOC: Blah blah blah, okay?

Don't worry. I can link to his threads and make sure he doesn't pull something he hasn't been taught. This is only battle training either way, sensei. We discussed this ad nauseum in skype. xD
Anyways, Penguin lemme begin. For the most part, your proctor will begin your test so it is always good to do your best on your starting move. This is important because it will set the tone/mood for the entire test. You have a lot to showcase and rushing through it will only lead to mistakes. Pace yourself and keep a clear picture on who Tobirama is and what he would do as a character. Don't just throw jutsu at random and hope it sticks. You aren't Dan (PervySage) so that approach won't work.
Since your proctor will always be random and your opponent random you have to be prepared for every scenario. I can't cover them all and don't want to. But I will give you the foundation so that you can ace it. But ultimately it depends on you and your skill alone.
Like all smarter characters of the narutoverse, the first strategy is the poke and prod method. Kakashi is the best example for this. What he does is basically use a clone or perform the Change of Body Stance Technique. He uses the clone to gather information on the skill level of the enemy. Using the clone he can test the enemy and figure his strengths and weaknesses.
- Which range does he prefer to use?
- What skills does he rely on and what are they proficient in?
If you are able to deduce that then you can then figure out his weaknesses. A close range fighter will have a harder time with long-range opponents, long-range with short-range, and with mid you would have to go with both short and long. Once you can figure out their strength you can then test how they are with their weaknesses. It is a rather slow process but the more you get used to this poke and prod method the higher your chances of survival. Once you can figure out their weakness then you can switch to the offensive and keep them on their toes and the defensive. People make many mistakes when on the offensive so keep your wits about you.
Also, while in battle, make sure, as a character, that you take in account all your surroundings and describe them well. If genjutsu is used on you you will have a hard time explaining how you got out of it incase you use a method of release.
Oh yeah and another thing to keep in mind is that ninja's are masters at deception. Your reader may know what you are trying to pull but not their character won't. Using speech and other jutsu as distractions will give you the advantage and give you many windows of opportunity. Don't want to master deception? Then be prepared to lose.
Finally, one big thing is that this test is first and primarily to show your proficiency with the bios abilities. Though you get points for killing your proctor don't make it a goal. Just focus on using his abilities and staying in character. Not just in skill set but in mind set. Tobirama is a strategist first and foremost. He prefers to be efficient by analysing his foe and then making a proper counter strike. Don't waster your moves and make everything count. Planning ahead moves and combos on your own will help you and give you an idea on how to use him better.
So onto le battle training.....
Standing on the grassy plains, Shin takes in the breeze and looks at the valley below. He can hear the gentle breeze sweep through them and see how green they are with vegetation. He looks up and can see a few clouds that move so slowly and peacefully in the sky. The warm, evening sun can be felt as he closes his eyes and dreams about his past and happy memories. When he is done, he continues to walk towards the wide grassy plain ahead that stretched for miles and miles. In the way far distance, a lush forest can be seen. He decides that to that location lay Konohagakure.
You see Shin was on a mission to assassinate Nidaime Hokage, Tobirama Senju. He was determined to carry out the mission as swift and effectively as he could. His heart was set and his killing intent was never stronger. This was his first mission as an assassin and he didn't want to disappoint any of his superiors back home. As he walked forward he could hear the clanking of his two swords on his left side. He could feel the weight of the Giant Fuuma Shuriken on his back. It was his prize possession and one he knew he felt most comfortable using. It was also a status symbol of his people, the Fuuma Clan. As he approaches more into the field he sees a man in a blue suit with white hair. It was him. Nidaime Hokage. He was glad he had received the note he had sent earlier and proceeded until he was within mid-range of him. He called out to him while maintaining respect for him...well as far as he was used to.
"So you came, Tobirama. I have come in the name of the Fuuma Clan. My mission is to take your head and claim your land. You should be proud for today you die protecting your land. Any warrior would be proud. Now get ready for me because I am taking you to the underworld!"
Shin quickly channels chakra to his feet and runs toward Tobirama with a little speed to cut the time it takes to get to him. He proceeds by making a plus sign with his two index fingers and yells out loud:
"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"
(Bunshin No Jutsu) - Clone Technique

Using his powers of deception, Shin gives off the illusion that he had created a shadow clone when in fact it was just an illusionary copy of himself. After making the clone, Shin grabs several shuriken from his pouch He then gathers, molds, and manipulates his fire chakra as he inhales. As soon as he is within short range of you, he throws the shuriken at Tobirama and as he exhales, he shoots out several small fireballs that mix in with the shuriken,all heading in his direction. Clone 1 then splits off to Shin's left and Shin heads to his right. As he heads right, Shin grabs several explosive kunai and lunges them forward at Tobirama, causing an explosion and smoke thus disorienting him and setting up Shin for his next moves.
Clone 1, using the distraction as an opportunity, yells out to confuse Tobirama.
"Don't tell me you are giving up so easily, Nidaime-sama?!"

Tobirama Senju, the Nidaime Hokage, sits on the grassy plains thinking about all the work that is in store for him when he gets back, but before relaxing, Tobirama knows why he is really out here.
Who is this man, and why would he want to kill me? It really makes me wonder...
As Tobirama was thinking to himself and feeling the sun beat down on him, he hears footsteps and the clanking of metal. The Nidaime stands up and brushes himself off, and looks at the oncoming challenger but says nothing.
The Fuuma clan wants my head? It looks like that won't happen, if the best they could send out is you. I will be defending my land today, but also successfully ending your life for putting me and my village in danger you impudent cur!
As the Nidaime said this, the Fuuma warrior started charging at Tobirama with good speed.
This man is swift; I best be on my guard!
As Tobirama got done thinking of an ideal strategy, his opponent creates a Clones.
As the clones are created, Tobirama takes his left hand and puts it in his right ninja pouch while takes his rigt hand and putting it in his left ninja pouch. In his left hand, Tobirama has a flash bang, and in his right Tobirama had two kunai. Tobirama takes his left hand and throws the flash grenade right behind him, but still faces the opponent, effectively blinding the opponent as his opponent was grabbing something in his ninja pouch. As the opponent is blinded due to the effects of the grenade, Tobirama launches the two kunai at the Fuuma clan boy and his clone, each aimed at the waist. As he launches the kunai, Tobirama starts focusing his chakra with precise chakra control, ultimately sensing everything around him.
(Chakra Henkanshi no Jutsu) - Chakra Sensing Technique

Tobirama starts kneading the Suiton chakra in himself. As he does this, he becomes calm and cool, like the water. When Tobirama gathers enough Suiton chakra in his gut, he starts focusing the chakra to come up his throat into his mouth. He then condenses the chakra while letting it flow out of his mouth, creating a huge mist.
(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.
Still being able to sense a miniscule chakra level [Bunshin] and the real Fuuma clan warrior, which are about 3m away from eachother, Tobirama starts running with his chakra enhanced speed to the Fuuma clan warrior, while quiet enough not to let himself get caught. Once he gets within arm's distance of the Fuuma clan warrior, Tobirama knows it is possible that the boy heard him, so Tobirama puts his left hand on the ground along with his left leg, then up kicks with his right leg connecting with the boy's chin, sending the boy flying.
(Konoha Shōfū) – Leaf Rising Wind

With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head.
