Tobirama was killed by Madara not 20 elite shinobies ! *PROOF*

The only thing he means with that statement is that he will be the one who will defeat madara instead of Hashirama this time.

but indeed this theory is possible and that could explain how madara knew the seal to break edo tensei contract

because in a war there are lots of dead bodies, and tobirama went to face those "20 shinobi" knowing he would die

so on his way to face them, he prepared edo tensei with the corpses (his edo tensei is different than oro's & kabuto's)

and saw madara and tried to use it and madara copied the hand signs....

however....madara was at that time, in the cave underground attached to the mazou where obito met him when he awoke

To a certain degree, I have also speculated this theory in the past.
However I'm still reluctant to completely believe this for various reasons that foxyladyland has already pointed out.

if tobirama was killed by madara he would have said so by now to spite his brother. hed be like "dude he fukin killed me and your still fanboying over him?"

Lets see, when Tobirama went to fight the 20 elite shinobies in the previous war, why was there no footage of his battle or where and how he was killed !
