Everything is there for you to see, Swords are much heavier than kunais and would be difficult to throw and easier to anticipate, izuna would side step it easily

And since he already fights izuna with swords its much easier to slip a tag, even madara said that tobirama was a shrewd man taking advantage and leting opponent think he has won, he isn't one to throw out things and attack head on

Even the mark you see on the kunai is made on the blade of kunai and not on the handle, it was made in a hurry, minato's kunais are marked on the handle and made for the sole purpose

Never do we see tobirama tossing out kunais even when they arrive or when the fight is going on, never do we see kunais on the ground

no such thing, hiraishingiri meaning is straight forward, use hiraishin and giri translates something along slash, for using hiraishin you just need a simple mark

how do i know izuna was marked? because its pretty simple, just like how he marked juubito as he came close, its his natural style of fighting

obviously if a weapon is marked it needs to be thrown to get it near an enemy

I think Jiraiya can beat him, it's just that he's featless in reacting to and keeping up with such high speeds.

You have no proof that either Izuna was marked

we have no manga scan telling us where the mark was but through other facts and observation we can reach a reasonable conclusion

or that it needs to be thrown.

why do you think minato throws his kunai instead of holding it in his hand

kunai needs to be near the enemy, in madara's case he likely threw a kunai from behind since madara doesnt have eyes behind him and kunai doesnt have chakra to be sense-able

you cannot move something if you just mark it

you have to touch it or your chakra has to be touching it to teleport it

obito was marked with the mark yet tobirama had to physically touch him to teleport him twice, once when he moved him while holding the bomb and second when using goshun mawashi
