I agree that there is maybe some possibility in this but honestly it just doesn't sound believable to me. And even if it is, how long does the chakra remain in the water? I assume that after the water hits the ground, it just becomes regular water and the chakra dissipates from it. I even remember when Tobirama tried to save Naruto from the god tree, he fired his water style severing wave but didn't use it to teleport to Naruto and instead had to jump over the branches to try and reach him.

The point is, there is a reason they both use a jutsu formula. It must be created using their chakra or contain some of their chakra within the seal. If Tobirama could easily just spray water everywhere and teleport to all of it then why has he never done so (pretty sure a smart guy like him would have used that to his advantage)? That scan you showed suggests that minato was referring to his kunai which contain his chakra, chakra arms obviously suffice too (for obvious reasons).

The water is made of chakra, unless it is being created from a pre-existent source of water. If Tobirama shoots the water from his mouth, he isn't using body liquids, but his own chakra. There's no implications of the water becoming normal water and his chakra leaving it. Anyways, even if it did teleporting to Severing wave would still be near instantaneous and unexpected. But I understand why some people would think it's fan-fic, it's brokenly op. That was because the tree absorbed the chakra, but I may be wrong. The formula is to keep the source their forever. It's more useful, and unlike suiton, once tagged you can always kill that person. Suiton can be brushed off if it was weak, or kept away from. Moreover, the whole surprise factor works better with kunai's, and will give an immediate object to teleport yourself or something to. Tobirama has never been shown to do so either because it's too op, Kishi didn't think about every scenario his characters can do (his creativity isn't infinite), or he simply hasn't had the need to do it with the little screen time he has received. It's all up to interpretation in an argument/debate at the end of the day.

It is theoretically possible but I don't think Tobirama can use FTG like that.

I see what you're saying, kishi didn't think out all the possibilities that FTG could provide. Eg, why don't minato and Tobirama keep a kunai on their persons and the use the FTG radius to constantly teleport up down, left and right, it'd be like fighting a blur. Theoretically FTG users should be able to fly by just constantly teleporting into the air.

Anyway, I think teleporting to shadow clones, Kunai's and chakra manifestations like chakra arms is as far as it goes in terms of believability. If the water thing was possible then I'm sure kishi would have done it by now. We know minato has an affinity as well, so him wasting all his time making all those Kunai's when he could just use eg wind technique, mix it into the air and teleport to it just sounds far fetched.

I never implied you are a butthurt loser. I just said you are butthurt. You replied to me twice after that. Once saying that Minato is absolutely superior to Tobirama in every way when it comes to Hiraishin, even though I had already clarified, and another to say I'm the biggest Uchiha fanboy on this site.

2- Minato was against superior, in control obito ~> lost only one arm.

That stupid feat people cling onto of Tobirama tagging Obito is so annoying. The only reason he could tag him was because he sacrificed his body, an alive minato and Tobirama would be killed unless they FTG out of there. It's not a feat that should be hyped to the degree that it has, it's literally meaningless.

And like you've explained, people seem to forget that minato is the onto one who's gone up against the Juubi Jins in their most powerful states 1 vs 1 and survived.

Minato simply isn't fast enough to touch Tobirama. Tobirama has reacted to faster opponents.

You like to dehype Tobirama wherever possible, whilst at the same time wank Minato to no end.

You claim that:

Minato was going easy against Obito when he thought he was Madara.

Minato has the best reactions in the series when he couldn't even react to a swing of Madara's staff, with the aid of sage mode.

It's simple to say that the two are equal, but the only known jutsu that they share are FTG & shadow clones. Minato is superior in the primary one, FTG, and just as efficient in the other one . Let's add sage mode, summons (high lvl elemental attacks), his own element(s), rasengan, seals, FTG lvl 3, and S/T barrier to this. It's clear who is superior. Even in a battle of speed.

To those who question Minato's chakra reserves, a commom fallacy I'm noticing is bloodline=chakra pool. In simple terms, this is true. For instance, when comparing a Senju to a standard shinobi we can assume the Senju has the larger pool since they've inherited the sage's powerful physical energies. But, we have to look at it on a case-by-case basis. Comparing a non-sage mode Senju to a sage mode user requires further insight. We know that only those with extremely large chakra pools, and excellent chakra control can draw in and handle natural energy. We know that Tobirama is familiar with Mt. Myoboku, and that his brother also has sage mode. It's reasonable to assume that if he were capable of learning it, he would have.

Two different thoughts come to my mind when I think as to why he did not learn it. His chakra pool was not large enough, or he was lacking in the chakra control needed to master it. In this, we can assume that this is another area where Minato surpassed him, and utilized this mastery as a means to diversify and enhance the FTG technique. Minato most likely has better chakra control, a larger chakra pool, or both. He can not only draw in natural energy, but can also use it to enter the perfect sage mode.
