Never said the edo would help in direct combat. The edo is to supply the material needed to perform Gojo. Don't see what the level of an edo has to do with that.

Clearly you are overrating the toads here. The toads failed to even touch a puppet body - Tendo who managed to dance around them and one shot them. What are tendo's speed feats?

Tobirama has more chakra than Minato = he can make more clones to create a distraction, close the distance, and catch the toad in Gkk's blast radius.

How does GKF even hit any Kage tier opponent though? I've always failed to understand this. It was a mandatory requirement for Hashirama to hold down and restrain the target, in order for this to even work. Then you have Hiruzen who canonically out ran its range in foot, I Repeat: "old man Hiruzen out ran this on foot". And then you have minato who also canonically teleported away along with Naruto, Sasuke and Gamakichi. So minato has already avoided this in canon. Then you have the fact that Tobirama (a Hokage level ninja) is the one who performed the jutsu himself, and still needed help to restrain his opponent. But this isn't the case this time, his Edo's are fodder level, below part 1 orochimaru's, so they are literally non factors of the highest order. They can't do jack, minato blitzes them with a contract seal, or 4 symbols seal or simple sealing tag.
