I doubt he wouldn't get caught. Tobirama is intelligent, but I have yet to see someone is intelligent as Itachi, especially when it comes to executing genjutsu's.

He doesn't have to look into his eyes, he can use his fingers to execute his genjutsu. Not looking at an opponents eyes because you know of the MS isn't giving him much of an advantage, it will give him quite a large disadvantage since fighting is usually done looking into your opponents eyes. I do know Tobirama is intelligent, but he doesn't have that many feats. and judging by those against Itachi's, Itachi would win 9/10 times.

Nothing in Itachi's arsenal is hitting Tobirama. It really doesn't matter about advantages or not since Tobirama has been fighting Uchiha for almost all his life; saying that he'd be at a disadvantage of not looking into Itachi's eyes is a moot point since he's gotten along just fine throughout his entire life. Finger genjutsu is countered via Genjutsu Dissipation.

No Sharingan genjusu is going to hit Tobirama. Also, to be hit by a Sharingan genjutsu you have to directly look into their eyes and many shinobi don't do that; they don't focus on their opponent's eyes while fighting.

Tobirama is as faster or faster than Itachi.
FTG evades Amaterasu. He also clearly has too much info on the tech since he knows what a Kagutsuchi is.
He's a sensor so he doesn't need to look into Itachi's eyes and will know when he's under any sort of genjutsu.
If Itachi continiously uses Susanoo, he'll die. If he doesn't, Niidame will dodge as his jutsu with FTG or block with monster water techs and come close enough to mark him.
