Ok, I already thought about this the moment It was reviled he made the impure world resurrection jutsu. To make a long post short, With this new revelation of him creating the shadow clone jutsu. I am 100% sure now that he is the creator of forbidden jutsu
The book of forbidden jutsu naruto stole and learned the shadow clone jutsu from back in part 1. I bet that's tobirama's book. I think tobirama was experimenting with chakra/jutsu and damn near figured out how it all works. It's clear to me now more than ever. Check this out, the moment he showed up he was acting like a super smart scientist.
1. He seems to be very annoyed when people can't figure things out within an instant like he can. Or when he explains something and people don't fully get it. He's also very impatient.
2. He broke down the sharringan, the uchiha's anatomy, and how it affects them.
3. He broke down what naruto and minato were doing to a T, shortly after the teleport.
4. Last but not least, he figured out obito's jutsu and then broke down how it must be working. It was almost like he was familiar with what obtio was doing(mixing light and dark blah blah blah).
Orochimaru is clearly following tobirama's research which is how he perfected the impure world. This also lead him to discover the secret of immortality. Everything he's done was simply furthering tobirama's findings. Now we all know how orochimaru went about his findings. It makes you really wonder what crazy unorthodox stuff tobirama did to come up with it all?
Can't wait to see what led tobirama to start messing around with the dark arts. Can't wait for his flash back!!!!
