Tobirama is using Hiraishin, also known as FTG/Flying Thunder God technique.
He most likely uses seals to transport himself as well, just like Minato and maybe there are seals on his sword too.

We always saw Minato's as sort of a flicker transportation. He seems to just move really quick, mostly an assumption on my part. It's possible the "Incomplete" FTG was just one place to another really fast.

Maybe the sword was full of seals or used his extreme speed to attack izuna, also but I'm not sure when tobirama attacked izuna I think I saw the blade had chakra around it!

I don't agree cuz sasuke's opponent was a fodder unlike Tobirama's opponent who was an MS user.I don't believe he couldn't dodge a simple body flicker U_U

It is a picture. An animation that is frozen. FTG and body flicker will look similar in such a picture.
Sasuke has a dust cloud under his feet (which is a sign that he used speed).
Tobirama does not have a dust cloud, but he has all these kind of dimension lines and a white spot of light, where he used to stand before using his jutsu.

it doesnt look like FTG at all tbh however like someone else said it could be a lesser version or it could even be a mistranslation...

i will wait for it to come out at *********** and see if its exactly the same :| tbh it looks more like a shuffle forward using a shunshin

Izuna died by a cut that was jolted forward while the stage 2 curse mark dude got cut 6 times with a body flicker both killed as if they were fodder.


Honestly I think the move tobirama did just amplified his speed because FTG just teleports and if he teleported then how did he get enough speed to do that final dash and slash?

all i remember was when he was against tobi saying that tobi's S/T was better than the 2nds and his own .. this doesnt mean that tobirama's S/T is better than minato's...
