Knowledge =/= intelligence. It's no surprise that he noticed something wrong with the technique he created.
Calling Naruto and Minato mentally challenged is purely comedic relief. It's also not a feat showing he's more intelligent.

Well, possibly but we need more feats from both Minato and Tobirama to judge effectively.
1. He created Edo Tensei and everyone knows that edos regenerate. He noticed Minato not regenerating, and used reasoning and deduction to come up with a theory that turned out to be right. Intelligence feat.
2. Notice the words in the () please.
3. There was no prominent warrior that used Toads in his Tobirama's era. Tobirama has no Toad contract. This shows he has knowledge on a lot of jutsu. Minato is a member of the contract so he would know about the toads.

4. What do you expect Minato to do in that situation when Tobirama is the only one with a mark on Obito? Minato's also done plenty in this fight as well.
5. Doing something only you can do is not a reaction feat. Would Minato get blitzed by Obito like Tobirama did, I highly doubt it when he easily reacted to A's v2 speed on top of flicking a kunai behind him to prepare an attack.

You're clutching at straws here like Sasuke fans with everything Naruto and Sasuke have done recently. You said superior intelligence those were all knowledge feats. Better reactions, nothing solid so far. Equal shushin even though Tobirama stated Minato's better.
Tobirama has never come across a Juubi jinchuuriki and has never seen Obito's unique attack. Both he and Naruto saw how Obito was unable to nullify Gamakichi's attack and both deduced Sage Mode attacks would work against Obito.
How is this a knowledge feat and not an intelligence feat?
I think we were referring to how Minato's edo body wasn't regenerating. Whilst Naruto and Tobirama realised what you said Minato was more shocked about Naruto having Sm judging from his inner dialogue.
