Tobirama will always be one of my favorites. because he is truly unique and it makes him even more unique that we haven't seen his full potential as a kage. same with the 1st D: but the 1st has too much hype. Tobi(rama) needs some recognition. I hope sasuke brings them back with the scroll .____.

He is vastly underestimated due to the lack luster battle against Hiruzen, but that was simply plot and power scaling. There was no such thing as cutting a mountain with an ethereal sword back then.

He is also overestimated because he is said to have edo and S/T
Edo: he banned it so there is no way he would use it.
S/T We have no clue what kind of S/T he had. I Think we can assume it wasn't on the level of tobi or Minato because if it was, it would have been a huge deal in the lore of Naruto. Plus he wouldn't have had to die to some ninja chasing him or his group. He could have just teleported them away. Whatever it was, id love to see it.

your WAYYY over-thinking this man to a scientific level.... if you want to be THAT specific of how MAGIC in a comic book is then in the real world you cannot create that much water out of the vapor in the air... trust me

the reason the 2nd hokage can create that much water is because of fictional magic... nothing else.... meaning yes anything else is possible

Well , this thread is about how tobirama senju able to cast a HIGH LEVEL SUITON in a place where there is no water...
and probably this ability also is the key for his S/T jutso [ its really not an S/T but effect somewhat like teleporting ]...

Here in naruto part 1 , TOBIRAMA counters HIRUZEN katon with suiton with no available water source in the area :

it was said that TOBIRAMA was performing high level suiton jutso with practically no water...
So the idea that comes in mind is simply he can manipulate water vapor in the air...
which is bisically readily available when ever there is air... TOBIRAMA can condense invisible water vapor right out of thin air... [ if you are familiar with AVATAR this technique is also being us by KATARA the water bender ] Im just saying that
the idea of manipulating water is also the same with TOBIRAMA..


So if TOBIRAMA CAN MANIPULATE invisible water vapor in the atmoshphere (air) ; Maybe he can also manipulate his own physique which is by the way also made up of water (how many percent I dont really exactly know) then by making his own physique turn into vapor he can travel in the atmosphere then shows up ... Which may appear as teleporting.....Minato said that the level of S/T the second hokage is like not really high ... maybe because of the water vapor travels a lot slower ...

Tobirama should be able to suffocate everybody or make them implode by filling them up with water.

He should be able to draw water sources from the enemy's body, rather than the air. This means the enemy will just be flat and dead.

Great thread. And alot of people don't realise that even though we have seen little of Tobirama that he clearly was a powerful shinobi, and trained the "God of Shinobi" Hiruzen.

Same as any fire technique.

Honestly, I feel like Kishi wrote that to hype his character, then regretted it
because what's the point of specializing in water style if you have to be
near a source of water to use it.
