I know hashirama fanboys would disagree, but i think tobirama would own him in a battle, note, i did not say he was better, i said he would win a match between them. now i know this topic might have already come up, seeing as i am new here im not sure, but i have decided to discuss on the matter cause it seems hashirama fans are so much here, and a bit unreasonable.
now before logic i would like to state facts, i think its safe to say tobirama is the best water user ever, seeing as he could whip up so much water out of thin air, unlike kisame who needs samehada. so here, according to the manga, wood style jutsu is a combination of water and earth, if that's the case then tobirama been a genuis in water techs, would find a way to manipulate hashirama's wood, since its part water, therefore making the wood imperfect or just non existent. secondly, hashi and tobirama have a way of changing the landscape of their battle field, hashirama makes a lot of wood and just there an opponent enters a mini dimension, i guess that's how he beat madara, so much wood around making it hard for sharingan sight to be fully utilized, but tobirama can do that too, he makes a lot of water, and can hide under it, shooting attacks from under and staying safe under there, and an opponent going in the water would be unwise, cause it might be a chakra drainer like kisame's and again it would be hard for hashi to use wood in there.
third tobirama used some kinda gengitsu that blocked out hashirama's wood, so that too can cause damage. and last, two words 'edo tensei'. for hashi to take on this technique, he would have to know inzanami, which im sure he dosent, if thats the case, then he would have to use a sealing technique, maybe the same one hiruzen and minato used, and if that happens then hashi would definately die, but i cant say the same for tobirama, and if eventually hashi knows no sealing tech to take down edo, then thats gonna be one uncomfortrable battle to watch for hashi's fan-boys. hashirama and tobirama are great shinobis, but lets face it hashi too overrated and tobirama too overlooked
