Tobirama not knowing how to release himself from Edo Tensei

Madarama releasing himself from Tobirama's jutsu makes no sense, it's obviously a very simple answer as to why tobirama and hashirama can't, or won't release themselves. PLOT!

People are forgetting that he never fully developed the Justu and most certainly didn't develop it till hand-seals of all the things. Getting it to the point of hand-seals would mean that he fully developed the Edo Tensai and it would be used with the said hand-seals, since as far as the whole hand-seals and justsus go, only the completely developed jutsus have hand-seals. As the manga has never shown any incomplete justsu with hand-seals, it's safe to assume that Tobirama gave up on it fairly quickly.

Henceforth since he never completed it, he cannot undo the Justu he never completely developed. This isn't a plot-hole, but common sense.

^ How did Madara released himself, IS a question mark. But I STILL believe it's not possible for someone to release himself from a Justu he never completed.

i would say the 1st and 2nd should be able to if they can move there body because the way they were talking it sounds like they both know about the jutsu tobirama created so maybe hashi helped make it and decided it way going to be used for evil or something like that

Well has the creator, you'd think he'd have the common sense to have the hand signs on how to do it, but also how to release it! I guess we'll all see soon..

Yes, but if orochimaru doesn't let him get control of himself then he won't be able to free himself.

This is the answer. He can obviously release himself. Hashirama probably knows how to release it as well. The only problem is, Orochimaru isn't a retard and will not grant them full control of their body, as Kabuto did with Madara.
