So that would mean unless Madara was in touch with Oro he wouldn't know aswell.

Where did I state anythting to do with Madara.
Because Madara can break free that means Tobirama HAD to have known?
I dont see the connection you are trying to make.
Plus why would Oro revive the creator of it with the jutsu he created. Even if he can break free Oro will most likely have something else up his sleeve to restrain him. Oro wouldnt be that dumb.

mastered it best. After all Tobirama created it but never perfected it, something
Oro did and i guess he did this in his time at akatsuki there for Madara knowing it too

You think it's possible then that Madara's knowledge of breaking free from Edo Tensei is something he acquired later in life? Or he knew it when tobirama was alive, if it was the latter then tobirama should know it too right?

it depends if roach gives him the freedom to do so. but he's right there in the room with him, so if tobirama starts to do the hand seals, roach can stop him.

and sasuke's EMS may be able to control him to an extent as well.

Tobirama may have created the jutsu, but it wasn't perfected until Orochimaru used it. So maybe Tobirama never thought to look into seeing if one of the zombies could release itself.

as someone already mentioned i believe it's about control, while madara broke from edo he was literally controlled by none as kabuto was already in itachi genjutsu, while oro fully controlled tobirama back, when he first summoned him, now let's see what happens, actually oro gave them full control
