That would mean that we can't use rinnegan/wood style madara when discussing him in threads too unless he's edo

lol what? Alive Madara currently exists in manga with Rinnegan, Mokuton, EMS and Sage Mode. A Minato who was revived with Rinne Tensei doesn't exist in manga, so when you say Minato, unless specified otherwise you are referring to alive Minato as we saw him in the manga.
