Tobirama Killed a Blind Izuna

Izuna's data book entry states that he died in battle after giving away his eyes to Madara.

In chapter 624, Aiko, we learned that it was Tobirama who had killed Izuna. Take a look at Izuna's face after Tobirama stabbed him.

I simply made this thread because there was a prevailing misconception in which people believed that a full power MS Izuna died easily from a sword blitz by Tobirama.

624 said that he got it after Izuna died from the wound.

This seems like a plot hole to me but in the scan I posted, when Tobirama killed Izuna, it seemed like Izuna didn't have his eyes.

This makes hell of a lot more sense than that outdated databook page you have.

LOL dude that first pannel is not Izuna, that's clearly a random Senju dude as you could see if you looked at the symbol on his armour. Plus, Izuna isn't even wearing armour, so how could that be him, haha.

And of course Izuna would look shocked after getting stabbed I mean, who wouldn't?

I'm pretty sure Izuna had his MS eyes then because otherwise why would Madara only have gotten EMS after his brother died of that wound? Surely if Izuna was blind then Madara would have had EMS during the battle you're speaking of.

Tobirama completely wounded Izuna down to an extent that Izuna had to give his eyes to Madara because he knew he was going to die any minute, so no, he wasn't blind, he gave his eyes while dying and suddenly went dead.

I think people don't realize that the account that Tobi gave might not be true, since Madara was manipulating him, as well as probably brainwashing.
I would take Hashirama's account since he was there, versus Tobi's which came from Madara (who yes, was there, but he may have withheld information in order to get Obito to join him.)

Either Kishi changed his mind or forgot what he had previously written. Probably another plot hole. Hopefully we can see this from Madara's perspective soon because I want to know what abilities the two brothers had and how they unlocked the MS.

Anyway my thread does give insight to the flaws in the data book so wasn't a complete waste.

It was believed izuna died blind after giveing his eyes to madara. This had has been refuted if anyone was going to blind it was madara and izuna gave madara his eyes before he died then izuna bled out

MS causes blindness, itachi had lost his perfect vision but sasuke later took his eyes, the MS design itself had faded away

sasuke later says that these eyes can see perfectly despite it being itachi's eyes, so its possible that izuna had lost his vision but madara after taking his eyes wasnt affected by it
