Madara would've been through with all of this fighting by now if Oonoki didn't stop that first meteor. Madara is simply trying to stop the fighting now , for the future peace of the world. He was summoned , the shinobi alliance attacked him, if he didn't start fighting back on his own, then Kabuto , his summoner, would've made him fight back anyway. The people he is fighting against him are the ones trying to stop him from creating his ideal of peace for not only himself , but for his enemies.

That is what we call a psychopath, Madara may talk about peace but at the end of the day he is completely insane, that really isn't the kind of person that should be in charge of the world.

That isn't all that different from most tyrants throughout history, they kill countless people all in the name of peace and security.

I used to like madara back when his childhood was introduced. AS leader of a clan at war, he had to care for it and his brother. His struggle to accomplish it was respectable, now he's just a psycho maniac no real goal, no1 cares for tsuki no me.
