hype isnt everything. danzo hyped him as the strongest in the village. kabuto hyped him as ET's creator. minato hyped him. hes one of the few who can make large scale suiton where theres no water
we dont know what happened. maybe tobirama fought and beat him before konoha was created. also tobirama feared madaras followrs. he never siad "i cant beat madara"

Yes, Sakura deep down respects and fears Naruto's power. But on the outside, she treats him like crap (the numerous times she has punched Naruto, insulted him). It's only when things get real serious, that Sakura shows her true side. I think it's similar with Hashirama and Tobirama.
When Hashirama gets trashed talk by Tobirama, it's only an act on the outside. I bet if they were both fighting against Madara, Tobirama would start to really show respect to Hashirama because he knows that only Hashirama can beat him.
It's the same with Goku and Vegeta. Vegeta always disrespect Goku, but when both were fighting Buu, Vegeta finally admitted that he was inferior to him.
There has to be a reason why Madara doesn't seem to give a crap about Tobirama, and yet he does for Hashirama.

hiruzen and nagato have that same title. also its a title. hashi can be god all he wants, but he will be kiled by mu. and kabuto. and nagato

... i think hashirama was shown like that to further develop his character...
i mean who expect him to be like that ...the shock factor is always good in manga and anime ect because sometime if it shocks you in a good way it makes you love the character abit more ..and there are people who didnt like hashirama and some now even like him ...
and tobirama being like that i think he had to be ...so that he takes charge and keep his goofy bro in line ...but thats is no way saying hashirama cant get serious ... i mean he founded konoha with madara so it means he must keep himself in line ... and can be both serious and carefree
watch if he does get into a fight ...he will change
like minato always calm and nice ... but when he gets pissed he is calm and serious and dangerous ....even naruto stops being goofy at serious times ....and pervy sage

never happened. except in the very beignning of part 1. sakura hits him whne hes being childish and pervy. if she doesnt tsunade will. sakrua never consciously maciliously insulted naruto. she onyl hits him to keep him in line and never consciously hurt him.
with what? hashirma has no seals or ways to stop madara at all. many shinobi can beat madara and none of them are named hashirmaa.
only because he truly believed he was stronger than goku. at times he was 100% correct
he seemed disgusted by edo tensei. thats probably why. then again he said a kid like kabuto shouldnt mess with kinjutsu like ET

I said punched and insulted him. Both are signs of disrespect. Exactly, and that's why I said it's similar between Hashirama and Tobirama. What's Hashirama's personality like? childish and silly, even Suigetsu has started to doubt him. Like I said, when in a real dangerous situation, we'll see if Tobirama acts the same way.
I'm not talking about Edo Madara. I'm talking about EMS Madara. Why is it that the only person Madara talks about is Hashirama?
He doesn't talk about anybody else. No one. The only person he ever talks about is Hashirama.

They are brother's for crying out loud! Siblings always talk down to eachother. Hashirama is the one being hyped up as a "fairytale" and "god of shinobi" and not Tobirama. Madara is bigging up Hashi like no tomorrow, this hype alone suggests that he should be the stronger of the two, deal with it! Obviously the manga can go on to prove otherwise in the future, but for now, those stating Tobirama > Hashirama are just lying to themselves.
