There IS no difference. Itachi was able to use it with MS and he was almost blind. He was dying because of disease. EMS is better, but not a huge feat. You only don't go blind and can use the eyes permanently. FTG can warp the Susano'o away and kill him. It was proven that FTG warps something you want.

He can sense it. Nagato was able to sense it and Tobirama is one of the best sensors in manga. He can FTG away and if Sasuke coats the whole Susano'o how can he see anything? Exactly. We don't know about his Suiton jutsus YET, but FTG and ET gives him advantage. Sasuke only uses Susano'o, but that's not a big problem. And Raiton techniques won't work properly against Suiton, unless Kirin but there's FTG.
