Tobirama edo tensei?

Just wondering how the hell did Tobirama invent Edo Tensei? It doesn't seem in his nature to be meddling with the souls of the deceased maybe he had a dark side? Or maybe it was just a fluke but I doubt that because the jutsu is quite elaborate.

There we go a reply that has reason. That's probably the best explanation there could be I really do hope they make fillers/gaiden of the 1st ninja world war so much filler could have been just as good as the actual story or filling in gaps in the past that the story misses out on.
