[Theory] Tobirama created Edo Tensei for

I am not posting any references for this. I am too tired, and will polish it up later.

1. Tobirama did not create Edo Tensei for Madara or Izuna Uchiha.

Why would Tobirama, an Uchiha hater, give an Uchiha limitless chakra and power? He would not. He hates the Uchiha too much, and has not shown the ability to stop Edo Tensei, except for trying to get himself un-restrained. He would not be able to kill the Edo (Madara or Izuna), because he has not shown any sealing powers. The Edo would live longer than him and could potentially destroy the village.

2. Tobirama created Edo Tensei for Hashirama or Itama

He would however give limitless chakra and power to Itama and Hashirama. Maybe Tobirama missed his brother's when they did die, and wanted them back. Maybe he used them in the war, because Hashirama was very strong. No one likes the fact that soldiers die all the time, and Tobirama though, "Hey. I have an idea that will save hundreds of lives for us!" He acted on it.

Tobirama created the technique to revive an Uchia, but that uchia wasn't Izuna, It was he's secret Uchia girlfriend that was killed in the war and he wanted her a$$ so bad!

Nice theory but it had to have been to revive his brother Itama or if Hashirama died it's the most logical reason to invent such a jutsu.

Maybe he created the jutsu for the villagers. To see Sean relatives and friends one last time in a happy manner, rather than a war. The thought of him creating it for a Uchiha, just doesn't seem plausible to me. Think about it, Tobirama keeps trying to finish off Madara, but Hashi won't let him. He talks mad ish about the Uchiha, even dogging them in front of the LAST Uchiha. I don't think he'd make Edi Tensei for a rival clan. I think we'll find out the real reason in upcoming chapters, but I think everyone's theories are good ones

No he didn't, Edo Tensei nobody knows why it's made, Tobirama will explain later, can't be for Hashirama because he was alive for a long time after he "killed" Madara,

1st, i dont think he was naturally hater of ucihas, but was aware that they could pose a serious threat ( the explanation about emotions and lose of loved ones).
2nd if he created that jutsu he knew all about it, as in he could control how much power they got.. and not give them unlimited everything, but just semi control.. just an idea.(tho i personally doubt he made edo jutsu for ressing either hashi or madara's bro)
