it was more like 20 seconds re watch or re read. But yh maybe the slit second he was summoned he should of just released it but we have to think about plot, also the shock of being revived and the most important thing if they tried anything oro would of put the talismans in them faster, probably str8 away.

Madara only escaped because he was totally set free once the jutsu ended, at least for a few seconds (see Dan). Hiruzen was sealing Tobirama, so there wasn't really much time to actually release the jutsu. I doubt that he had full control of his body anyways, or he would have straight-out attacked Orochimaru.

yeah he didn't have full control of his body but even then he could have just tried to end it like madara after it was released xd
