Tobirama and Shikaku learn Gen from Kakuzu?

I saw how much fun putting Tobirama in a Genjutsu looked. No wonder he didn't like those Uchiha I thought to myself as I started gathering chakra. I then focus chakra towards Tobirama making him see a Cherry Blossom tree appear behind me, petals already falling. As I do this, I focus more chakra and make Tobirama see me dissolve into cherry blossom petals as well, each jutsu adding to the others effect

The person you tapped in the genjutsu will instead see an illusionary clone of the user walking towards them. In battle, you'd detonate the paper bomb as it reaches your target, however since this is training do not detonate the explosive tags. We don't want any of you getting killed

Key Points: Its an illusionary clone, gives you a good idea of how you to realize this Genjutsu.

Description: This illusion creates numerous illusionary clones of the user that appear to emerge from the ground, trees, rocks, etc. If these clones are attacked, they appear to multiply. The user can co-ordinate his attacks with the clones to make it appear as if they are real.

Following a similar concept, this Genjutsu also causes the user to see illusionary clones. Focus your chakra into your target's mind, causing them to see multiple clones of the user emerging from terrain-based features e.g. rocks, trees. If any of the clones are attacked, they'll appear to multiply, meaning it will seem as the opponent is not making in progress in defeating them. You can also co-ordinate and time your attacks with the clones to add an element of realism to the technique.

Key Points: Like the last technique, these clones do not disturb the terrain since they're purely illusionary. If you cause them to emerge from water, the water source will not ripple or produce any splashing sounds. Its best used in a noisy area (e.g. on a water source in stormy conditions).

 

[Penguin]

Tobirama looks at Vegeta once more and flashes one hand sign as he forces chakra into Vegeta's chakra system. As he does this, Tobirama makes Vegeta imagine a clone is walking towards Vegeta, while actually throwing a paper bomb at Vegeta.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: After using the genjutsu, I could use Swamp of the Underworld to drown my opponent. After that, I could take their head off with a Raiton or fry them with a Katon.

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: The person walking towards me is making no sound. The grass they are stepping on is not rustling or moving.

Your preferred method of release: Full body surge, maybe damaging myself.

As I see a clone walking towards me, I notice how the grass underneath their feat is not moving. They make no noise at all. They don't smell either. I then use Doton: Domu to break out of the genjutsu.


Tobirama gathers some chakra and forces it into Vegeta's system once more. As he does this, he makes Vegeta imagine there are 4 clones coming up out of the ground ready to attack him. They all walk forward and throw a punch, but nothing happens to Vegeta.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: I could throw shuriken at my opponent while making my clones distract my opponent. It would end with me killing my opponent plain and simple.

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: After noticing when they move they don't sound, smell, or weigh anything I would use a full body surge or hurt myself.

Your preferred method of release: Full body surge, hurting myself. Maybe if I was a Nekura I would just use the Juubi's chakra.

As Tobirama notices there were suddenly 4 clones surrounding him, he studies the clones. No smell, not breathing, not talking, no sound. These are illusions. Tobirama then cuts his leg a little, with some blood oozing out.

After realizing he was in a Genjutsu thru his ability to break the 4th wall, Vegeta...Just kidding xD

After gathering chakra, I look at Strawberry and begin forcing chakra into his system, messing with his chakra flow. As I do this, I flash one handseal and yell "Shadow Clone Jutsu!", as he see's the clone appear, I throw a paper bomb at him, but from his vantage point it looks like I'm telling my clone to charge, but the advancing enemy he see's is actually my paper bomb about to explode in his face

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:Man, it seems almost limitless if the opponent definitely goes under the genjutsu, I could combine Earth Release: Earth Flow River/Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet/ Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet to envelope my opponent in molten mud while under the genjutsu, that's if the paper bomb doesn't kill them first

I gather my chakra, and force it into Strawberries system messing with his chakra flow, As I do this I scream "Mutli clone jutsu!" and and make 3 clones appear, 1 in front of me, 1 on my left/right sides, and make them charge from the front and sides simultaneously.

I form a single hand seal extending my chakra into penguins mind, making him see my summon a clone but in reality i threw a explosive tagged kunai at him.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: combine with an elemental attack to follow up on the exploding kunai or use an earth jutsu to increase likely hood of impact

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: the type of clone when created infront of me makes some sort of sound at the least.

Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

An exceedingly simple technique, but most tend to misunderstand or over-complicate it. If your opponent is running towards you in a straight line (if they do not specify, assume its a linear path towards you), you can cast them in this genjutsu. The genjutsu will cause them to see themselves continuing on in this straight line path, when in reality they're running around in circles and not covering any ground.

The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

The technique itself is a basic chakra surge which can dispel up to S-Rank genjutsus if your rank permits it. As it requires a single handseal, any genjutsus which hinder your upper body maneuverability or cause paralysis which affects your arms can't be dispelled by this method. Genjutsu is commonly used to paralyze or prohibit certain movements e.g. handseals and so more often that not, this technique won't be a viable method of release. Personally, I don't use the jutsu that often since I like to think I would cope perfectly fine without it since there was once a limit on how many times this jutsu could be used per battle. It seems like its seen as the easy way out of genjutsus and the least creative method possible. However, sometimes its the best option to take as pain release is problematic for most bios and this technique can be used to free team mates from an illusion.

Key Points: Make sure to watch the rules for battles very closely, many of them say "No Sub/No Kai".

Don't use the template for Kai.

Pff, I'm not afraid of that chicken weasel I say as I attempts to run at Yamcha, but can't seem to reach him. @Strawberry, your replies are very minimalistic. I'd like you to put more effort/detail into your replies.

Its a C-Rank, so inflicting a small cut onto yourself should suffice. Also just to clarify, usually its better to avoid being cast in this genjutsu (Sly Mind Effect) entirely by running in a non-linear path e.g. a zigzag-like motion. However, if you do happen to be caught in it, you could simply use the reasoning you stated or use thrown objects to decipher you're moving in circles, since more likely than not the object will go off on angled flight path, clearly showing you're not moving in a straight line. I particularly like Lili-Chwan's reasoning on how to realize Genjutsus such as these.

With that being said, it can't be used if your opponent is walking towards you it requires something up to mid range that conceals what's past that. Like a forest, or even if the opponent goes underground. Else the opponent will clearly see a distortion between the area not affected by the genjutsu and the area that is. In the manga, that distortion was hidden by the forest, so they could wander around in circles that the distance wouldn't change. They noticed it because the tower they were looking for, in the distance, never changed place (That's the distortion).

With that being said, though, case you can't find any distortion, you'll have to realize through a certain fog in your brain, signifying that someone is messing up with your head. A genjutsu master would have no problem figuring out after a couple of seconds. The transition is sloppy, and thus, someone fully aware of their surroundings, will quickly notice the trick. (It is a C rank afterall). Just look at the surroundings and you'll find that, as you walk, the images seem to distort. This can't be reached as quickly if you're running low on chakra, or if you're tired, etc. But if it's the opening move, it's really easy to break out of it (sometimes).

( Genjutsu: Jinmon ) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation

Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

This technique is rather basic and will require a target far weaker than you who is unable to move/paralyzed. For that reason, you'll be testing on my lab rat aka Margarine. After I paralyze him through the use of an unfocused burst of electricity, I want you to place your dominant palm on his forehead before focusing your chakra into his mind to "convince" him to reveal information. Usually Genjutsus cannot control the opponent's actions (except Sharingan gens), however this technique has many requirements to be able to do so. The opponent must be much weaker than you, physical contact is required which amplifies its effects and they must be weakened enough to be incapable of movements altogether.

Key Points: Not particularly useful for battle, however its a nice rp tactic to use in the Ninja World.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:This could be used in conjuction with something like ( Katon: Gōenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower having real fire attacks hit as the genjutsu is working, but I think the real advantage would be using an attack from below like Earth Spears or Water Vortex while the enemy is looking at the sky

I focus more chakra into my opponents system and yell Shadow clone Jutsu! and force my opponent to see a clone of me appear and start charging them (by which time I would have went underground with Earth Style: Hiding like a Mole as the enemy is distracted looking at the charging clone) and as the clone gets in range of them it jumps up and explodes into a cloud of cherry blossom's covering his view as I use Earth style ouble decapitation to pull him into the ground up to his neck as I pull myself out of the ground, now standing directly behind his exposed head

I channel my chakra into vegetas chakra network specifically his brain, and manipulate his network in a way which makes him beleave their is a giant ball of fire raining down on him from the sky, it only affects his sight however. With no sounds or heats being produced form the fireball itself. vegeta should now think that he is visually about to be hit by the fireball

Use it as a means of distraction to launch a surprise attack of any sort such as earth spikes form the ground while the enemy is looking up.

The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

For the first technique, I'd like you to cast your partner in a genjutsu which changes a single feature about the battlefield itself e.g. makes a wall rise up, creates a pond or water source and etc. However, unlike its lesser counterpart, for this technique you will add a second layer to this Genjutsu. Once the first Genjutsu is released, the second layer will be initiated e.g. You make the terrain look like a snowy wasteland, once the first layer is broken, it will transform itself into a molten/volcanic-like area.

Key Points: Cannot effect things which aren't considered the terrain e.g. masking the fact you've thrown a kunai. Also, pay very close attention to wording. This jutsu only changes the way the terrain looks, meaning no sounds and smells are produced along with it. Also, any features you create, are of course intangible.

( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow

Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

Now, I want you to grip a hold of your sword. If you don't have one, you can borrow one of mine. Wave the sword back and forth in front of you in a hypnotic-like manner. When the opponent looks upon the sword, they'll be trapped in a Genjutsu (looking at the sword is what initiates the Genjutsu). I start by gathering and molding my chakra, I then perform 3 hand seals and infuse it into Strawberries system making him see the area suddenly turn into an icy cave, with ice stalactites hanging from the ceiling. Unbeknownst to him, I have added a 2nd layer to the genjutsu, the same field we were standing on but facing the opposite direction. So even if he were to break free, he would think he was out of the genjutsu but had somehow spun around 180 degree's

I then use (Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining to create a sword of water chakra appear in my right hand, and begin waving it back and forth at Strawberry, making him see my arms multiply like that of a willow tree's branches swaying back and forth. While he's dazzled by the imagery, I would then advance quickly and slash at him with my water sword, murderizing him...hypothetically ^_^

i form 3 handseals while channeling my chakra, i follow by extending the chakra into vegetas chakra network manipulating his chakra network in a differant fashion then normal genjutsus, i place 2 layers of genjutsu upon him. The first one being a volcanic terrain changing the landscape behind him and around him to seem as if a volcano had just erupted lava flowing and such, the second layer of the genjutsu is an ice berg, if the first genjutsu is released the second one will kick in and appear as if the surrounding area is an icy terrain. However none of these affect anything besides visual sense.


Combinations you could make with this jutsu: TRap the opponent in the double layered genjutsu even if they release the first theyd be stuck in the second one, and they might believe the second one now to be reality, deducing teh 2 genjutsus and getting out of them would leave them vulnerable to any attack i throw next i could perform a swift lightning attack ending the opponent as they are stuck within the genjutsu even breaking through it they would still have very little time to counter an attack.

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: i would know it is a genjutsu because either something i touch would not be real as the affects are intangible, i wouldnt feel anything such as heat nor hear sounds present normally asociated with such terrains.

I take a hold of one of Nk's swords and begin waving it back and forth as if i possesed something of great value and was flaunting it, as vegeta would look at the blade he would fall prey to the genjutsu making him believe many swords being held by my hand are waving back in forth on a slowly fashion, leaving him dazzled and open to attack , i would run up to him and slash my sword across his chest.





Combinations you could make with this jutsu:begin by waving the sword hypnotically and palce the enemy in teh genjutsu and follow up with a quick slash, or wave it back and forth while running making the overall mvoement seem even mroe weird, take the oppurtunity to slash the enemy.

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: no one can have multiple arms swing out of no where, the sword cant just apear from no where if no seals are formed. pretty easy to tell.

If the elemental sword doesn't need you to maintain it. I imagine you could perform it with an earth sword but not a water one (unless its self-sustaining) otherwise the water blade will collapse once you stop focusing your chakra into it.

Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

Now, I'd like you to place my clone in a Genjutsu in which he sees snakes appear beneath him, quickly coiling around him before constricting with him with enough force to crush his body. In reality, he'll be paralyzed and will take damage due to mental stress.

Key Points: Its recommended that you use this jutsu in a grassy or rocky landscape, whilst the opponent is positioned firmly on the ground. If you cast this on a mid-air opponent, he/she will immediately realize its a Genjutsu. U

I also strongly advise against using this jutsu on a water source since the snakes will not distrub the water as they rise up, meaning not a single ripple, spray of water or splashing sound will occur. Vigilant shinobi will see right through this, less attentive ones will overlook it.

 

[Strawberry]

upon taking notice of a newly formed clone by sensei, i channel my chakra into the clones nervous chakra system, causing an imbalance and making the clone believe there are 2 snakes coming from beside him, 1 form one side and another from the opposite. They proceed upwards coiling around him and gripping him tightly, in reality the clone at this point would be paralyzed and unable to move. The snakes do not affect the terrain.



Combinations you could make with this jutsu: Use this technique to paralyze my foe, and while they are paralyzed try to do dammage, or kill them. For example use this tech and than perform chidori sharp spear a generally fast technique and take off the opponents head while they are trapped in the genjutsu.

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: the snakes would not affects teh terrain, water would not ripples dust would not rise etc

Your preferred method of release: i would most likely use a stab of somesort that would be easy to perform since kai is harder to perform while you are paralyzed, if my hands are by my side gripping a kunai id would jab them into my thigh.

As I look at the clone, I channel my chakra into it creating an illusion that 2 snakes are rising from the ground below it, coiling around the clone and tightening their grip to the point where the clone feels as if it can't move or even breath, and that it's bones are being crushed as the snakes grip tightens even more. In reality, I'm giving the clone a reeeeeally big hug ^_^
Combinations you could make with this jutsu:This could be used in many combinations, as long as the enemy is paralyzed you are free to do with them as you please...meaning any jutsu basically combines with this

Key Points: Personally, I hate everything about this particular technique. Using flowers in a battle feels to feminine, the lack of logic behind the techniques creation and the fact its limited to short range all make this a useless technique to me. Perhaps you'll find better use for it, who knows.

The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

For this 2nd technique, I want you to perform a single handseal and place the opponent in a Genjutsu, before tossing large number of explosive tags in their direction. The genjutsu will make the papertags look like butterflies, before the opponent sees himself sinking into the ground at a rapid rate, causing him to be immobilized in reality. After all of that, you will place a single exploding tag on my clone's forehead, before detonating all of the tags simulatenously.

Key Points: I won't say much, since describing this technique is your job. However, all I'll say is, there are many ways to realize this is a genjutsu throughout the course of the technique.

As the clone is paralyzed from the other Genjutsu attack, I perform 1 handseal sending more chakra into the clones system. I toss a large amount of paper tags at the clone, but the clone see's me tossing loads of butterflies in it's direction and begins to feel as if it is sinking into the ground, as I run up to the clone and place 1 last paper tag on it's head, scurrying away to safety as I detonate all the paper tags at one, taking the clones head clean off it's shoulders before it poofs away

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: Well, I would want to have a clone perform perform something to literally immobilize the enemy (Like having a water clone perform Starch Syrup or something) so that even if they get out of the genjutsu, they still will have trouble avoiding being blown to bits by the paper tags, or you could possibly use that Flower Hill genjutsu before this one

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: the sinking into the ground would cause no noise like it should, and why would the enemy who's trying to kill me throw butterflies at me? That would also tip me off

Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

For this first technique, I want you to string together the following sequence of handseals *displays* before utilizing your chakra to trigger an illusion which first gives the appearance of you suddenly disappearing into thin air. After that, you will force your target to see several bean vines growing from the earth beneath and around him, the organic tendrils quickly launching him into the air before wrapping around him, leaving them paralyzed in reality. Suddenly, a bean pod will emerge from the ground, which will open up to reveal you, leaving you ready to strike down your foe.
