Let me explain why I think so
Obito and Madara are not the best team, despite their power. Here's what takes to make an effective team:
Clear objectives ✓
Balanced roles ✓
Effective processes X
Good communication X
They communicate but it doesn't go smoothly* (see below the reason)
Appropriate leadership X
There isn't a specific leader in this Uchiha duo. And there seems to be conflicts *
Support and trust X
I think I don't need to say much here *
Openness and conflict X
*
Mutual co-operation ✓
Individual development ✓
Not sure but I think a "tick" should be given here
Further explanation:
* - There is lack of ability to appreciate the contribution one's expected to make and the lack of ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
As I said, they communicate, but it doesn't go smoothly. We have seen moments when Obito calls Madara a kid, and vice versa, as seen in the image below:
There are also other moments where there's friction in the conversations, such as the one shown in the bottom of the this thread. So it's almost obvious that there will be conflict between them, as I don't believe the team may break in a friendly way.

Uchiha Obito will defeat Uchiha Madara!
Or at least, we'll see Obito comming to the good side/regretting

Obito and Madara are not the best team, despite their power. Here's what takes to make an effective team:
Clear objectives ✓
There are mutually agreed aims and objectives, everyone has a clear understanding of these.
There is a good balance of skills, abilities and aspirations. Team members have a clear understanding of each individual’s role in achieving overall team objectives.
There are good processes for making, communicating, implementing and reviewing decisions. There are effective information systems and co-ordination of resources.
Conversation are productive and there is effective communication up, down and across the organisation.
Appropriate leadership X
The team trusts the team leader and feels that it is led in an appropriate way.
Support and trust X
People help each other by listening, evaluating, offering ideas, encouraging experimentation and giving support.
Openness and conflict X
People express themselves openly and honestly. There is a willingness to work through difficult situations or conflict constructively.
Mutual co-operation ✓
There is a readiness to be involved and committed. Individuals’ abilities, knowledge and experience are pooled and used by the team. There is acceptance of each others’ strengths and weaknesses.
Individual development ✓
‘Mistakes’ are faced openly and used as a vehicle for learning. Individuals are given opportunities to develop new skills and experience.

But more importantly, Kakashi, Naruto also together with Minato (maybe) have the power to convince Obito to walk the same path as Nagato did in his last minutes He looked at Naruto and told himself "he resembles me of my self". I mean look at him in the image below, how could he die as an evil person?
