It has never, and I repeat never once been said you need Senju dna to awaken the rinnegan. It has been said you need Senju dna to properly use izinagi, but that's it. Rinnegan has been stated to be the next step in evolution beyond EMS, so maybe Sauce-gay will awaken rinnegan, just as a way to make it almost fair when he fights Naruto. The needing Senju DNA is a misinterpretation that people keep making.

Your theory contradicts itself. You say Sasuke, an Uchiha, cannot awake Rinnegan naturally, but give an example of a person who did. Jiraiya himself said his knowledge of the Rinnegan was limited. As for Nagato, I have a theory for that. I think that when Tobi, at one point or another, implanted eyes in Nagato, they, like Kakashi's Sharingan, were unable to "shut off". Keep in mind his real eyes were never seen by anyone. How this transfer occurred, I speculate it was similar to the jutsu embedded by Itachi in Sasuke set to activate when necessary. Madara said he awoke his rinnegan shortly before he died, which means that logically, EMS becomes Rinnegan eventually. Its the next step in evolution. Nobody knew this in the story until Madara told Kabuto that, and Kabuto said him and Orochimaru had hypothesized that's how it worked, but until then didn't know for sure.
