[Spoilers] Tobi used Kakashi's Kamui to send Gedo Mazo away !

THIS THREAD IS NOT THAT BAD BUT IN MY OWN OPINION i honestly feel like tobi had nothing to do with the stopping of kakashi's kamui because the gedo statue power is on a whole other level now that its absorbed the 8 and 9 tails bit of power. i mean come on its not the first time we have see someone break out of a power or somes jutsu... i think that the kakashi thought he had everything planned out and as he was trying to break the neck (from the look of the pic) i think its roared its way out that pic with its enormious power and thats why tobi said he was being "too optimistic" and i think the reason kakashi said "how can this be" "dont tell me" is because remember gedo statue is the vessal for the ten tails so he might have said that phrase is saying "dont tell me... is this the power of the ten tail" because it was able to get out its kamui, maybe that part of the chapter was a small taste of the power of a non fully developed ten tails.

But if Tobi has Obito's other sharingan, or is Obito (somehow) that would explain why the Kamui failed. Think about it, Sasuke's special MS ability is Amaterasu. He is the only one who can extinguish the flames. It makes since that if Tobi is Obito, he would be able to stop Kakashi's Kamui, because its his eye. It would also explain why Kakashi randomly gained the MS.

This is so stupid. First of all. . . The gedo did not disappear. That frame is the explosion of narutos bijuuball missing tobi and hitting rock instead. Secondly kakashis kamui was negated by tobis fan.

the 7th frame on this page shows tobi releasing his fan upwards towards the gedo. Thirdly when Kakashi says "that amount of chakra should do" he is referring to narutos bijuuball not his kamui. After tobi dissipates kakashis kamui with his fan he vanishes to avoid narutos incoming bijuuball and the reappears beneath naruto to try and grab him. Whats the confusion?

No it is you who is confused, Kakashi meant that should be enough chakra for his Kamui. Tobi didnt use the fan to cancel Kamui, he simply used it to pull himself up.

Just look at the goddamn Manga, Gedo Mazo never vanished because he was never in mid-air while Tobi was....jumping from stone to stone, and when he disappeared they looked in the direction where Tobi was and said "he dissapeared" (singular) . Gedo Mazo was on the ground still going through a transformation while Kakashi tried to rip him apart with his kamui, Tobi cancelled that kamui which schocked Kakashi into realizing that Tobi´s Sharingan must have the same Space-Time characteristics AS Kamui, which means that he can easily cancel Kamuis effects.
you surely remember when Kakashi tried to kill Tobi with his kamui and Tobi said that he doesn´t need to try because that jutsu doesn´t work on him.

I dont think kamui could work on gedo mazou, because it is vessel of ten tails and powerful; not easy to take down. So kakashi likely failed just like many times in the past. For instances, he failed to wrap deidara completely only managed to get his arms. Also Kakashi has been shown to use it successfully only on small objects such as kunai and missiles. So it is likely that kakashi was unable to perform kamui on ten tails because kamui has limited range such that he has difficult time performing on large objects or living being like gedo mazou.

How do you know? It's the vessel of Ten tails afterall. I simple believe that Kakashi understanded that Kamui had no effect on it because it is now too powerful.
