smh don't result to trolling just because Tobi may very well be Obito Uchiha hahaAkamaru being Tobi makes more sense than ****ing Obito.
I'd like to revive him, only to kill him again to stfu all Obitards.
Whatever chief, Izuna is shown in a coffin with bandages over his empty eye sockets(In a flashback just like Obito's "Death"), he was DEAD! Lol I'm not about to go back & forth with you over this, you know & I know Izuna died. If not then why do all the Izuna theories include him being REVIVED in some way shape form or jutsu, if he never actually was dead?....Edge said:We SEE Obito being crushed by a boulder and we KNOW he's dead. Nothing vague there, it actually happened. Until we see an actual backstory, then you can't 100% say Izuna is dead.
Just putting this out there;
Obito's "Death:
Cave
Right Side Crushed By A Boulder
Still Talking(May have stopped talking because he lost consciousness from massive lose of blood)
Team Left Without Actually Seeing Him Die
Submerged By Caved In Cave
Izuna's Funeral:
Memorial Ceremony
Bandages Over Eye Sockets
Not Talking(For Obvious Reasons)
Clan Members There KNOWS He's Dead
Buried
Thank You for staying true to your guess but also showing that Tobi = Obito Uchiha is very plausible, given all the current evidence. You hit the nail on the head with that bolded part. +REPShinweiss said:So what you're saying is the main reasons a ninja who could potentially use space-time ninjutsu can't be a ninja who uses space-time ninjutsu are space and time?
I'm not saying Tobi = Obito, my number one guess is still Izuna, but suddenly awakening unstable space-time powers (to go with suddenly awakening sharingan powers) would certainly account for Obito's survival, age gap, and time to fester up some hatred. Maybe he was just stuck in his little pocket dimension for a decade or two. There's also the two-Tobis theory in which the one who fought Minato could indeed have been Madara.
Either way there is an awful lot of evidence that points to Obito, including the very similar and unusual powers between Tobi and Kakashi who have both exhibited Sharingan abilities nobody in the entire Uchiha clan seem to know about. Also I'd like to point out in the now infamous Ch594 pg8, even though Tobi's statement about remembering faces is directed at Guy the part about Kakashi living a life of regret obviously is not. He seems familiar with him, and to compound the issue, the 5th and 6th panel in the middle of the page is a pretty interesting side-by-side juxtaposition of Tobi's right sharingan and Kakashi's left one. Why is that panel with Kakashi even THERE? It serves absolutely no purpose, given the conversation had been changed to Tobi and Guy, unless it signifies a link between Kakashi and Tobi.
It might be a red herring, it might be foreshadowing. We don't know.
I think the main reason people are saying it isn't Obito is because it would be a pretty bad twist, but it's not as if Naruto is a shining example of spectacular literature. But then I don't really understand why people would prefer it to be someone like Shisui, or worse still Kagami, because their total lack of background and development would make them even lamer twists than Obito who at least got some of a gaiden dedicated to him.
tl;dr: in a universe filled with magical superpowers there are far less plausible theories and I don't know why the Obito one gets so much flak.
