Before Madara fought Hashirama, he somehow deciphered what was written on the Uchiha stone tablets. He discovered that in order to control the 10 tails, he would need the same power that the sage of six paths had (he was the one who split the 10 tails in the first place). He determined that in order to obtain that power, he would need to reawaken the rinnegan. That is why he fought Hasirama (1st Hokage)...in order to discover how to awaken it. Madara knew that even if successful, he likely would not live long enough to execute his plan. This is where Tobi comes in. Tobi is a copy of Madara (his mind and power) and is somehow also immortal. Tobi's body was orignally Kagami Uchiha. Before Madara fought Hashirama, he instructed Tobi how to resurrect the Rinnegan. He needed someone with the ability to develop the Rinnegan and informed Tobi the location of where the boy would be born (ended up being Nagato). This is why Madara, after being resurrected by Kabuto thought that Nagato had done it and said, "looks like he has gorwn up". He found out that Tobi did not carry out all his plans and apparently has developed his own plan (moon eye). Itachi was aware of this, but never knew of the origins of Tobi. Danzo was also aware. Minato knew the attack on the the hidden leaf when Naruto was born was the work of Madara (his power).
Amazing huh? This is only in the next 6 chapters. There is more to come (mainly the fight between Naruto and Tobi as well as Sasuke). I do not know yet whether Sasuke will change sides, but clearly he has been swayed by Tobi up to this point. My guess is that Sasuke and Naruto will fight with Sasuke discovering the truth too late.

And for those of you who doubt this info. I happen to live in Japan and a friend of mine works for SJ magazine. (publsiher for Naruto). This is inside info. I did leave out some details, which you can pick up within the next 6 chapters.

Oh yeah? Congratulations I happen to live in the States where my best friend is in the Mafia. He gave me inside info on how to create a Molotov Cocktail. We both can make up random shit eh?

Do you know how many times we read this shit on Narutobase? "Oh I have a friend". If you do or don't, sounds ignorant either way.

no tobi is juubi's "will" in madara's original body (edo tensei in madaras case didnt restore him to how he was when he died). kagamis a nobody who was introduced in passing to give us more backstory on tobirama and danzo.

One thing is for sure Tobi has a tie to the leaf one way or another. He knows to much about sharingan and the first to not be and he is bent on destroying it just like Sasuke because like sasuke at some point the leaf f-d him over. I'd laugh my ass off if tobi tore off his mask to reveal he was just some no-body not to mention be severely disappointed.

Hypothetically Itachi had to know what Tobi's face looked like to set the trap in sasuke that was triggered by it. before sasuke recognized it ameraturuso was shot out so he could have not had the chance to get a good look.

There is no way of knowing what was and was not ginjitsu the night Sasuke saw his mother and father die. It can be argued either way so ill leave it at that.

My point about Sasuke's mom was that she knew the baby was coming not about the where the hide out was, just when (more or less).

I do wonder where Sasuke's and Itachi's parents were on the night the leaf village was attacked. There must be some reason when Itachi was shown alone with Sasuke. I think there is more to that story but I'm not convinced by the Tobi theory yet

Why not? This would add yet another beautiful twist to the long winding ride the naruto saga is taking us on. Tobi has to hide his for some reason. and this is the last logical one that I can come up with. Why wouldn't he just kill sasuke or itachi and take their eyes? He knew Itachi was a trader to his evil team, why let him live?

That is absolutely impossible....and i think tobi hasnt taken their eyes because he doesnt need them.From what i know he also has a sharingan plus a rinnegan so.....

It certainly plausible, it it isn't Kagami, then it has to be Izuna or Madara himself (using Tobi's body as his vessel).
