Tobi is either Izuna if he never truly died after losing his eyes,a Zetsu clone with senju DNA (most likely Hashirama's),a stolen sharingan/rinnengan and Madara Uchiha's DNA. Or he could be from the Uzumaki Clan because he used one of those chakra chains on the five tailed beast which we saw Kushina use when she was helping Naruto to tame the Nine tails.But none of these really explain how he has the best S/T jutsu in the series.

I don't get why everyone one says he could be Kagami he was only shown once in the show in one of Danzo's flashbacks right before he died vs Sasuke.

Oh ya and i forgot to say that Tobi is definately not Shisui because if you remeber Itachi had help during the Uchiha Clan Massacre and Shisui gave Itachi one of his eyes because Danzo has already taken the other one explain to me why he wouldn't have taken his sharingan back from Danzo because if you saw when Danzo crushed Shisui's eye Tobi was really disappointed and he would have also taken his eye back from Itachi but he didn't know that either of them had the eyes.

He's very powerful...but considering his real strength "till now has been a perfect defense and regeneration he isn't just anybody. He controls all the tailed-beasts AND their hosts, that sounds almost as a God.

Then again Kabuto is controlling a lot of powerful deceased ninjas, he did lose control of some of them. Still, he seems to be the one with the calmest mind. Having "that" jutsu makes him the most mysterious one, we already know what Tobi wants, to see Naruto fight Sasuke, to acquired all tailed beasts to be complete.

BUT Naruto manga is about ninjas so it resolves around deceit and one enemy always pondering how to surprise the other so Kishi it's gonna surprise us, he's been teasing us with Tobi's identity leaving hints and (teaser hints) like "Hatake Kakashi...Good eye" = Obito's Fanboys "YEEEEEEEEAAAHHHHH!!!!".

So Kishi will make us jump on our shoes, Tobi will be a known character because it's the best move.

Tobi is an Uchiha who wanted peace similar to the "Younger Brother of The Sage." That is why he admired the First Hokage. The First Hokage tried to obtain peace through peace treaties and distributing the Tailed-Beast, but that only caused more "Hatred and Violence" to the Naruto World.That's when he notice that peace couldn't only be obtained through what the "Older Brother of The Sage" believed in.

Tobi and Madara had the same mind set, but Madara plans was to slow. He needed to accomplish a way of how others could see the vision he wanted as a whole. Tobi use Madara's plan but revise it to his liking.

If you want to know who Tobi is than it's clearly you are thinking in it to hard. Tobi is know only as "Tobi Uchiha." He only calls himself "No One" because soon the world would sumcome to his "Moon Eye Plan." JK. Really, IDK.

wen tobi met itachi he had that unusual mask like flames directing to the eye hole,
he was wearing like uchiha clothing,
he had madara/izuna hair style,
izuna had his eyes taken ,
tobi's eyes dont deactivate meanin he might not b uchiha
tobi has a collection of eyes which dont deactivate meaning maybe he's been transplanted uchiha eyes all this time because he had his eyes taken and he loses his power in them quick i dunno,
he said he is nobody,
all he wants to do is make the moons eye plan,
him and madara r close,
the rinnegan was his to start with
he can use space time ninjustu.
zetsu calls him tobi
he has a zetsu arm

Seeing that he's a compulsive liar, I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Tobi ripped off his mask and started singing ''Never gonna give you up!'' for the ending page of the manga.
