Yes it could mean that even if he was Obito. Like I said I am not saying I believe Tobi is Obito, but its something that COULD be overlooked, but actually be Kishi foreshadowing.

Hello people, I'm quite new to the base. Through a year of looking at the amazing Naruto manga of this site I decided to make my own account. Seeing all these Obito theories.. Ugh. I've also seen people say, "OBITO IS NOT TOBI!" in my opnion, you could be wrong. Kishi loves to give us surprises even though they don't make sense.
Lets get to the point.
Obito was Kakashi's old childhood best friend, hell, he even gave his own last eye.
Now, Obito was crushed by Boulders, yes, we know this as his death. Before his Death, he gave Kakashi his right eye. Little did Obito know, his eye can manipulate Time and Space, sending anything into another dimension, etc.
As you can see, Tobi can teleport, and have the "Intangibility" technique, he can move through anything, and teleport anywhere. Before you say, "WHY THIS DON'T MAKE SENSE, HE SUPPOSE TO HAVE SUSANOO AND BLACK FLAMES" let me prove you wrong, Itachi and Sasuke are one the rare ones. Tobi said himself, "Susano'o and Amaterasu, is a rare ability. Barely any Uchiha have this ability." as he told Sasuke. Those weren't his exact words, however he said something basically like that. Teleportation, is his "Amaterasu." and Kakashi's eye... Kamui, is Obito's "Tsykiyomi" I can't explain the intangibility.. I do believe that's the third ability of his Sharingans, or Mangekyou's. As a second ability to his left eye, replacing the Susano'o.
When Obito died, falling beneath the rocks that were crushing him, he was probably barely alive. His life was passing away each passing hour,days,etc. I believe Zetsu found him, pushed the rocks off, and rebuilt him. The reason I think this, is because, remember when Tobi was fighting Fuu and Torune? Insects were crawling around his entire left arm. He ripped off his left arm, revealing white blood. I believe Tobi has the blood of Zetsu, because Zetsu rebuilt him.
Ever realize how they are around each other a lot?
Now, explaining the Nine Tails attack. Kakashi was about.. 16,15 or 14 at the time, he resembled a Middle Teen, almost an adult. Now, Naruto is 16 at this vary moment, he looks like an adult doesn't he? Has the appearence of one, but the face and attitude of a teen. Tobi was at an adult appearence around this time. Hell, he could've been 16 for all we know.
Now for the Massacre.
Well, Tobi was a rouge, he most likely was observing through all villages with being intangible. He realized that the Uchiha were evil, just like the old villians he faced as a child, he knew he had to sacrifice lives for true peace to come forth, this is why he teamed up with Itachi, destroying the rest of the blood line that could threaten his peace plan.
I also believe Tobi is Obito, because.. When he's around Kakashi, he always speaks to him like as if he knows him. Remember at the land of iron, correct me if I'm wrong please. Sasuke fought Naruto, Sasuke got owned, his chakra low. Zetsu saved him, and Tobi appeared. "I'll end this right now." said by Kakashi activating his Mangekyou. Tobi said, "That won't work on me Kakashi." did Tobi just guess his ability, or did he know it? Correct me if I'm wrong at this.
Tobi has said moons eye plan, he wants true peace in a evil kinda way. Obito always wanted peace, and the moons eye plan was originally Madara's but Obito wanted to carry out his old ancestors plan, and obtain true peace in a maniacally evil way, he always talked about breaking the rules and said "If that's not a true shinobi, than I'll destroy that idea!" meaning he had to break the rules sometimes to achieve something good. Moons Eye Plan is good in a way if you look at it.
Back to the Rebuild, ever notice how Zetsu and Tobi are so close?
Now for the recent update.
Kakashi and Guy arrived at Naruto's aid. They were fighting the Beast, when Tobi complimented "Good Eye, Kakashi." kind've suspcious if you ask me, and not even complimenting Guy. Kishi told us, he was gonna give Kakashi a moment of character devolpement. We got Chojis, Ino's and Shikamarus. Also we got Sakuras, Sasukes, Itachis, and Narutos. Some others I didn't mention, sorry about that. But it's looks like Naruto's coming to an end, and all characters have had there moments besides Kakashi and Guy. Kakashi's moment will reveal itself when Tobi removes his mask, revealing Obito..

3. even the fourth hokage knew he was dead.

5. and what do yuo mean obito always wanted peace they should 2 episodes of him and it was about a war. if thats the case every ninja wanted peace does that make temari tobi. does it make kimmi tobi no obito is dead buddy.

but when I said it about 4 month ago.. They think Tobi = Tobimaru/anothere Uchiha/Mardara's brother and said there is no way that Tobi != Obito without even proving that it can not be...

It's a good idea definatly could happen. However i think Kakashi's development is gonna come from Guy useing the 8th gate and sacrificing himself, I mean we've got to see the 8th gate atleast once in the series he wouldn't have made it sound so awesome if we never got to see it. And I think right now what's going on has the best chance of forcing Guy to use it.

Yes, we all have our opnions/theories/ about Tobi. Heck, we don't even know if he's a Uchiha or not. I respect your opnion, as we all respect eachothers, and Fourth Hokage could know he's dead but.. All the time in movies, we always hear that "HE'S DEAD!" then, BOOM, they come back a while later. Obito was the Naruto type Uchiha in my opinion, he was the Narutonub of the Uchihas. But we're all confused on his spacetime ability, which VERY resembles Kakashi's Kamui.

tbh everyone knows kakashi, there has barely been a character in the whole of the manga who hasnt recognised him as the son of the white fang, also i absolutely dissagree with the fact that obito is tobi because obito DIED around the same time that fake madara attacked the leaf with the kyubi. So it is fact that obito was far to young to look anything like fakre madara at the time in comparison to height and ability. I would prove it but i cba to get the page in the manga ^_^ but i do agree that fake madara is some sort of variation of the zetsu. but i also beleive that tobi is the original zetsu.

We have seen the power of sealing techs done by other shinobis outside the Uzamakis. But.. One that stands out the most is Danzou and Oru.. But the twist would be.. Tobi was already an uzamaki that would live this long and have incredibly huge chakra to hold his own. Think about it..

. Think about it.. He basically let Nagato mold its power and develop the eyes till he could steal and take them back with all the power the eyes gained from being with Nagato. And then transplant them with the power of the bijuus in his body giving him the ability to possess the eyes and use them. And the code name for the experiment, or project develop rennigan was.. NAGATO..
