Re: Madara

i agree with you, i think Madara made him with using Creation of All Things. Tobi could be just raw chakra like the tailed beasts....maybe

Possible identity of Tobi/Madara

Okay, before I have anyone totally undermine my theory, just think about this for a second. I'm not a great storyteller but I know a good story when i hear it. And Kishi knows how to tell a good story. He has left us guessing the identity of this new and incredibly powerful foe. What most of us want to know is just:

Who exactly is under the mask?

People think it might be a clone of zetsu, others believe its Izuna Uchiha or Shisui Uchiha, while even some think its the 10 tailed beast in human form. I'm not saying it can't be any one of these entities. But my strong belief is that it could possibly be Obito.

Now before any of the nay-sayers start trolling. Think about what I said before, this is a great story. The point of having a mystery is that by the end of it, you're face palming yourself saying, "Now why didn't I think of that." or "That makes sense now." Lets look at the story, you have Naruto, the protaganist, and you have Tobi/Madara, though not the main antagonist (the main antagonist would be Sasuke in case you were wondering) but a bad guy none the less. Usually the bad guy has had some relation with a character we've seen before.

For example, Nagato had a relation to Jiraya, Nagato being an antagonist, he fought the protagonist, Naruto. (Please bear with me, i understand it seems like I'm dumbing this down, but it's to try and prove my point.)

So if Tobi/Madara = Obito, who would his relation be with? I wonder? Now I know what you might be thinking, it can't be Kakashi. No way, he has met Tobi/Madara a couple times before and Tobi/Madara hadn't acknowledged Kakashi like that. Well that's because Kishi is trying to make Tobi/Madara evil personified. Which is why he isn't anyone anymore, he has lost everything, he's "No one".

If you recall Obito, he was a little like Naruto in some ways. Always last at everything(I'm talking about before he awakened his sharingan), while Kakashi had to be the best and tried his hardest, a little like Sasuke. Of course they had different reasons for being this way, but their personalities were very similar. But tragic situations occurred it made what Kakashi who he is today. Well its cool that we got a back story for Kakashi and learned a little bit about how he came to be. But there might have been another reason for it. Like to introduce this character, Obito. He left a lot just to be overlooked.

But one more final statement as to why i think this. As i said before, Naruto and Obito are similar in their personalities. The only difference is the situations that occurred (the butterfly affect, if you will). Naruto is and will always be the good guy, the hero who overcomes evil. Well Obito is something along the lines of, what Naruto could have become if occurrences were to prove otherwise. Evil personified.

Well, what do you think?

Re: Possible identity of Tobi/Madara

that sounds really cool and all, lots of effort put into this, but - it makes absolutely no sense that it would be obito. From what we see this "Tobi" knew a lot about Madara, so much that he could convince others that he is him. For him to have this kind of knowledge he would have had to be around in the same generation as Madara. When Madara died the 1st hokage was in charge, this was even before obito was born.

I agree entirely. Isn't it strange that "Tobi" has the exact same Mangekyou Sharingan technique as Kakashi does? I would call that a pretty big "coincidence." Just let the haters think what they want, it's probably pleasing Kishi that they don't think it's Obito anyway. Exactly what Kishi wants.

Re: Possible identity of Tobi/Madara

I was thinking...and this maybe just me, but I'd say Izuna. Yeah we all know it's said that he died in battle, but what battle?? Izuna would be the ONLY Uchiha to actually know what happened all those years. That includes his battles with the Senju...

God, I can't wait till Kishi reveals that Tobi is Obito and all the haters start band wagoning and saying "Oh I believed it was Obito all along." I can't wait. Kishi likes to play with peoples minds, remember that.

Re: Possible identity of Tobi/Madara

Obito would only know what was written about Madara, not the things he actually did...and Obito was crushed. So you mean to tell me that the grave that Kakashi visits pretty much on the regular is an empty grave?? Think about your choices on who lived in that time of Madara...very very few.

tobi is madara. obito has nothing more to do with the story after kakashi talks about him. tobi covers his right eye to confuse the reader because obito lost his left one making i beliveable that he would wear a mask to cover that single fact. it was intentional Kishimoto Masashi made it that way on purpose. so obito really did die a long time ago.

Just sayin...

Just saying.....

If those people who were supporting that obito theory this would be the best way for it to happen since Kakashi has showen up to help fight the masked man

Well it's not too far-fetched that he could know what Madara did, Madara was a legendary shinobi, it's not too much to say that there were many stories told about him. And since everyone saw Tobi as the Madara of legend. No one could really prove otherwise.

About him being crushed: Yes you see the rock-slide falling on him, but you still don't see him dead. Not saying he didn't get out with some help. That still remains to be seen. As for the "grave", that's not a grave, its a memorial, there are most likely no bodies under it.

Your second paragraph, i can see what your getting at, but you have nothing to back it up

Just sayin...
