For the same reason he didn't take nagatos other rinnengan. To finish reading the " Tablet" and to bring all of the eyes together to create the moons eye plan & bring forth the 10 tails.

Three great eyes & Tobi would only want two? Closed minded.... just because kishi hasn't revealed the byakugans secrets doesn't make it any weaker than the other two. There is a reason a byakugan user will get together with naruto.

Byakugan may be the most important eye of all

Since this is just a theory, I will agree for now. Either way it doesn't matter if you are right or wrong.

If it happens, it happens. If not, oh well.

However, I would be more than happy to hear you provide solid proof that what you say is real(meaning it will happen in the manga for sure).

Allow me to provide insight,

In order to become complete the 10 tails ( Tobi ) will need to combined all three major eyes for the ultimate eye ( as shown on the 10 tails its self )

1. When tobi had the orange mask ever notice the head protector?
2. Three holes are in the new mask for the third eye.
3. Third eye symbolism is knowledge/enlightenment

In a story based off Buddhism I would expect ones to research what they're reading for it shows you the writers inspiration.

Chakra,6 paths, third eye, tobi embodies no emotion like the belief reflects.
The third eye in belief allows one to view another's chakra source.

Look it up & put the pieces together than prepare for this thread to come up again.

Does Tobi have the Byakugan already?

If not, Tobi's abilities would be put in question. (He can easily get one especially as a preparation in waging war with the Allied Shinobi.)

If yes, Tobi should have already seen Naruto coming from afar.

There is no harm in trying to give your own prediction.
Many possibilities can happen in the manga story.

Seriously, the same happened before, when we never saw Pain's face, people were speculating a lot about who it would be ( The fourth was even suggested, how about that ), and he turned out to be someone completely new, with a new tale.

Who's to say its not the same with Tobi?
Sure, he's connected to Madara and Zetsu, but that still does'nt tell us anything.

i say hes got the rinnegan and the sharingan already, if the byakugan is is apart of these eyes then i say maybe the 3rd hole is for that. someone else had the theory and it sounded good, i mean it would make sense considering the Hyuga have been kind of not talked about to much besides what we have seen of Neji and Hinata. if you dont agree then just say so, dont troll me or anyone else!

If he would have come off as just a theory of his it would not have been this bad but he is confident this is the truth. Not to mention he claims he works with Kishimoto.
