you know come to think of it Minato and Itachi were both reguarded as very intelligent shinobi with very good hinesight and yet both speculated Tobi is most likely Madara. Ironic or big role in the enigma that is Tobi?

I reckon he simply convinced them he was Madara somehow. As for the eye thing. I believe he set the boobytrap against Tobi's eyes. He just believe he was Madara!

itachi believed tobi was madara, therefore he set the trap in sasuke for tobi's eye, still believing that tobi is madara. and that is why he asked naruto if madara has revealed the truth about him.

the kyuubi also recognised both madara and tobi (it said YOU!) when tobi put it under his sharingan, so the kyuubi is the one who has to spill here, he's the only one who knows if tobi is madara or not. minato, itachi and kisame have either been taken in or are right, could go both ways.

Sorry this is another tobi/madara thread....

The first thing that has been bothering me is itachi and his fail-safe. Was sasuke's eye suppose to react specifically to MADARA'S sharingan? Because, if so, how did TOBI'S sharingan cause a reaction. Was Tobi somehow able to get his hands of madara's eyes? Im just really confused about this.

The second thing thats bothering me is:

Im not sure if you can see the image that I've uploaded but it is naruto's and itachi's conversation from chapter 549 page 7.

The part of the dialogue im focusing on is:

Itachi: What happened to sasuke?
Naruto: He wants to take revenge on Konoha! He became a member of
akatsuki.
Itachi: Why doesnt he want to go back to the village?
Naruto: He was told about your real top secret mission. And he decided to
destroy the village!
Itachi: Was that....Madara?
Naruto: Yeah, he told me the truth about you as well!

The pink " Was that....Madara?" part is bothering me. He's refering to Tobi right? I mean if tobi ends up being some random thing, then Itachi is kinda stupid (well, he isnt) assuming that Tobi isnt Madara. Mabe Itachi did think that Tobi was Madara - Remember that conversation that he was having with Sasuke before the fight? I think he said something like "Madara is well and truly alive. He is an invincible immortal" or something. I wasnt able to find the actual chapter.

He was just surprised tobi or as itachi thought madara actually spoke to naruto about these matters. So he his last person in his mind that could have told naruto about all these matter was tobi. He was thinking someone within leaf that revealed info regarding his mission with the leaf.

So that whys Itachi didnt think of tobi spilling the beans immedaitly and paused for little while.

When he got hurt, all this sludge came out of his wounds.

Also, madara and hashirama are the only people capable of controlling the tailed beasts. Well how was tobi able to control the 9-tails during his fight against minato (unless madara was alive back then - he did speak to itachi remember?) Well zetsu's substitution justsu allows him to create an exact copy of anyone he has ever touched, down to their chakra. Does this mean they can use ALL techniques of the person eg. kekkei genkai? Tobi = Zetsu substition (kakashi commented on the vivid chakra of tobi/madara). Also, the zetsu substitutes arent strong, they are mainly used for diversions - mabe thats why tobi can only stay intangible for only 5 mintues.

Also..about tobi being able to track anybody eg. minato after he teleported. Mabe he placed spores of minato when he tried to suck him in...zetsu is a powerful sensor.

I hope I havnt confused anyone.

Hmmm Madara hasn't shown the ability to become intangible so far. Actually the two madaras (Tobi and Edo Madara) have not shown any ability similar to each other apart from both controlling the 9tails and even this is not 100% accurate as it might have been Madara controlling the 9tails from a distance while Tobi was making a fuss against Minato. I don't really think Tobi is a Zetsu clone of Madara.

Another thread about Tobi's Identity

Hi friends, its been a long time since i last posted a thread.

Well friends I've been thinking that Tobi is a person who we know, we are quite familiar with his identity.

He could be a person who was close to both sasuke and itachi because he knew them quite well because he knew Itachi's secret who only a handful of the elders in the konoha knew. And Tobi was able to manipulate both sasuke's anger and love for itachi into bringing Sasuke to his side.

I personally believe that Tobi is Fugaku Uchiha (Sasuke & Itachi's Dad).

Because when tobi explained Itachi's secret to Sasuke, when he was telling him about the planning a coup d'état on konoha he refered to Fugaku as a mastermind in a proud way, as if he himself had planned the coup d'état.


Well Friends, I know it is not a strong point but I wrote what i felt.

I hope you consider my theory and add something you want to or point out the mistakes in this thread.

This is the first Tobi Theory thread where I don't feel like telling somebody to shut up. It's an interesting theory. I would be amazed if it was. But Itachi killed their father along with their mother.

No way...Fugaku may a wannabe ****...but there's just no way a father would react like [now that Itachi is finally dead...the thorn in my path ifs gone..we'll attack the leaf] after his son's death or I finally tricked Sasuke to be my bitch.

And Itachi met Tobi before the coup....there are INFINITE FLAWS in this theory.
