[Theory] Tobi saved Madara?

NBase take notes this a real theory had can explain everything.

This is just a semi-decent theory/idea I thought of. What if, when Madara was defeated and on the verge of death, Tobi warped over and pulled a Haku (faking someone's death) on Madara, while Hashirama was distracted with the now rampaging Kurama?

Seeing that Madara "died" Hashirama probably left, allowing Tobi to come in and take Madara away. OR Hashirama took Madara's "dead" body, and Tobi just came in and took it later using his S/T techs. So, back in his hideout, Tobi healed Madara.

That's when Tobi explained his entire Moon Eye Plan to Madara, and how Madara could be a part of this "New World" (sort of like what he did to Kisame). Madara, seeing that Tobi had similar ideals as him, agreed, and that's when they formulated a plan based on Nagato's Rinnegan.


Thoughts? Just a quick idea I thought of.

Good theory. I was thinking the same thing.

but then there is still a plot hole, how would tobi survive for soooo many years....

How would Kakuzu survive for so many years? How would Orochimaru survive for so many years? How would Sasori survive for so many years?

Immortality is no stranger to this manga. Tobi, of all people, would know how to obtain it. The easiest explanation is that he implanted Senju dna (which we know for a fact that he did).

That would make Tobi pretty much as old as Madara and that's not likely.

But it's ok for someone like Kakuzu to be as old as Madara :sy:

And I don't see how Madara almost getting killed and then give Hashirama's DNA to someone else fits the story.

Why? OP already explained everything in his post. They worked together and they shared. Fact is - Tobi has Hashirama's clone in his lair.

Also, I doubt a top ninja like Hashirama would just forget about Madara's corpse. Remember that the body of a ninja holds many secrets, you don't want somebody to find out about them, especially not if we're talking about Uchiha Madara.

Wasn't it told in the manga that his corpse disappeared after the battle? In any case, Zetsu could have faked it and no one would know.

Fact - Madara said he survived the battle and afterwards developed the rinnegan. So want it or not but his real body or his corpse (if Madara actually died) wasn't there.

Corpse? Madara survived that battle dont know what Hashirama was thinking he either let him live or thought he died but if so why didnt he take in the body? So many plot holes kishi got himself into.

I assume the Bone Forest is related to slugs.
Well, slugs are somewhat snails without the shell, like a human without its bones and well the forest is the perfect damp environement.

The soft, slimy bodies of slugs are prone to desiccation, so land-living slugs are confined to moist environments and must retreat to damp hiding places when the weather is dry.

it's tobi, he sheds his body, his abilities with earth water (Zetsu) relates to above lines.
I think he must be related to tsunade. tobi can become intangible & in one manga sakura says he may be partly erasing his body like that, so he is changing his body like katsui or integrating it with surroundings

He may have used a zestu clone technique to fool hashirama,
And don't you think he looks cool as Slug sage

While I would like to believe that Tobi is the Elder son, what motive does that give him to destroy the Uchiha (he certainly has motive to destroy Konoha).

Keep in mind that idea of a ninja holding secrets may not have been introduced until later by Tobirama. Definitely not around the time of the great battle.
