Now, of course thats not what I believe nor is it true. However, that has to be the impact of what is behind that mask. Because anything short of that won't carry enough "OMG WTF!!??" weight. Especially when you consider how long kish has be milking the masked man for.

Would tobi equals obito REALLY be worth the time invested, shock factor enough? No because honestly there is zero character attachment/development.

Would tobi equal izuna matter to ANYONE? Of course not, zero screen time, zero character attachment/development and who the hell would even recognize him.

Well i also was thinking of a possible connection between tobi and obito too because tobi shows his sharingan first to kakashi. Tobi interacts with kakashi several times like their is a connection. So I think when tobi takes off his mask you would see portion of obito's face and have us fooled, as someone else happend to use obito's body as vessel. Also probably his eye too. As a result tobi gained the teleporting technique. Good tobi/obito body theory though.
