i think tobi had alot to do with the coup d'etat since he hates the hidden leaf and knew that the uchiha was on the brink or a civil war (he instigated it for sure). after killing almost all the uchiha tobi has the power to quickly gather all the sharingan from the dead clan with his teleportation technique. that would explain how he has alot of sharingan at his disposal. plus i think when a uchiha gets other eyes their life is extended which would make sence as to how tobi managed to survive for so long. plus he can transplant as all the eyes into himself by the pair until he has rinnegan to spare. any thoughts people?

Check bold text.. you don't get ANYTHING from random uchihas sharingans, they need to be from close family ( brother/father ) OR 'special eyes' oh.. shisui was only 1 with special power's xd tobi just has hashish cells on him = gives life force, + tobi prolly has strong chakra too which also allows him to live longer than 'normal' dudes. + he's being doing lab test's with orochimaru ( who was nearly immortal ) so so so so..
