Do people purposely forget that Obito/Tobi has a the chakra signature of Madara? Kurama recognized Tobi immediately as Madara.

Kurama has been taken over by the real Madara.
Kurama has been taken over by the masked man.
Kurama could not tell the difference.

It's beyond obvious that Madara has infused something of himself into Obito. Just wait til Wednesday guys, it'll be explained in time.

Think of it from Obito side left to die,nothing in His past or present has work,makes no different who started the wars,only that people pay for them, especially the innocent over and over. Madara and Zetsu comes along saying that the beast anybody can do is put the world to sleep,thus bringing peace to all and Obito grabs at the idea,so Madara orders Zetsu to repair Obito and Madara retains Obito to carry out His plan of the moon eye plan. Madara dies and Obito takes over as commander and chief and changes the plan to suit Him.

Well I don't believe he is Obito. I think he was constructed from different people and is literally "No One". So I would feel vindicated if so. If not, well, read it anyway to find out how he could be Obito. Either way I will be satisfied.

I have not read through the entire list of quotes, so I don't know if these have been pointed out:

1. Konoha and the current ninja villages have only been around about 80 years, give or take a year or so.

In chapter 398, Tobi was explaining the beginning of the Leaf Village. He stated, "The story begins over 80 years ago, in an era of unrelenting violence and bloodshed." This era is BEFORE Konoha. Then, he goes into the rivalry of the Uchiha and Senju. He explains other things, as well. I would suggest to reread that chapter.

2. I looked through the chapter where Kushina is telling Naruto the story about his birth day. I think that it could be Obito. Also, I think that Madara was still alive at the time.

In chapter 502, Minato told Tobi that he couldn't be Madara because he's "dead." I am guessing that Madara had Rinnegan at this point. Madara must have a similar technique to Kamui for Minato to believe Tobi is him.

Kakashi, Rin, and Obito were on a team during the Third Ninja War. (First page of Chapter 239)

I do not believe that Tobi was Zetsu. We all should know by now that Zetsu cannot copy a kekai genkai. Otherwise, Zetsu would have used Neji's Byakugan against Sakura in the tent. (Chapter 541)

3. I do not think that Obito and Madara in cahoots together is as farfetched as some of you are making it seem.

Yes, he liked Rin, but I do not believe that he became evil because of it. It is known that Obito was known as the "Cry-baby Ninja." Many people talked harshly to him because he was emotional. Even Minato told him if he didn't learn to control his mouth, Obito would become weak. Kakashi was always making fun of him or yelling at him. Kakashi didn't even want to help Rin. Obito sacrificed himself. Even though Kakashi had changed profoundly after this mission, he, along with Rin and Minato, left Obito for dead. Chances are Madara, or Zetsu, found Obito and helped him. If you remember, Nagato and Konan were nice when they were young. Young, naieve, nice children are easily manipulated. Even Itachi mentioned something like this to Naruto in reference to Sasuke. (I cannot find the chapter, but it's when he gave Naruto the crow.)
If anyone has any more information, I'd like to see it! (provable info, please!)

*Added later* I was just looking at the two pics in the manga. It seems like it could be Obito or Setsuna based on the way the characters are drawn.

Does anyone know how close their relations are? I had heard that Setsuna is Obito's dad, but I have not found anything to confirm this, yet.

At the end of the day, I think that Kishimoto will just troll us some more. Oh, well!

Yes it was a YEAR. The third world war ended 17 years ago, shortly after the battle in which obito "died". The Kyuubi attack happened 16 years ago, and we know that for a FACT since obviously Naruto is 16 years old, and the attack happened on his birthday. So yes, he faced Minato after a YEAR. it was definitely not a few years at all. he was 14 years old.

well then kakashi and guy got dumb tall in a year didn't they?? i think you've got your facts wrong. show me where it says the 3rd world war happened 17 years ago

I guess to be more precise, Kurama has never said that Tobi and Madara are different. He told Naruto, "If I had to choose between you or Madara, I choose you".

This entire time Naruto has been fighting Tobi, and been calling himself Madara, Kurama never came out and said , "hey wait a minute, that isn't Madara"

Both Zetsu and Madara of course,Zetsu worked for Madara back then,Zetsu healed Obito Body and Madara reshaped Obito's mind to His liking.

This is obviously the majority opinion and for good reason, because it makes sense, but I have one question based on the way you said/wrote that. Since I would guess it is almost confirmed by any intelligent post on the matter I see on this forum (not like that matters because Kishi could just undue that in a matter of seconds), Zetsu is most likely a creation of sorts made from the Hashi's DNA/Cell's...Which leads to my question for you being why would or why does it at least SEEM to be that Zetsu is extremely and way more loyal to Tobi/Obito even though Madara is back and Zetsu as we know can sense things like Madara being back I'm sure. (If you don't understand where my question is in all of that hoop-lah, I apologize I have a tendency to let my ADHD get the best of me, so just let me know and I will write it out xd).

Just Kamui? Tobi was able to wipe out multiple squads of ANBU and keep up with Minato. That takes more than a single Space-Time Ninjutsu. It requires raw skill and natural speed, none of which Obito displayed during the Battle of Kannabi Bridge. While it can be gained through training, improving that much in a matter of months, 13 at most, is stretching it. Sasuke was faster and stronger than Obito before the time skip according to his stats, and not even with 2 1/2 years of training was he capable of matching the Raikage in raw speed. And Minato was -faster- than A.

ya but look at his style of fighting and its no wonder he could take out multiple squads, dont give them a chance to understand his jutsu and spam them with it... his jutsu makes it to where ONLY lightning fast shinobi OR kakashi can touch him... his style is SUPER cheap, he uses a chain that stays tangible while he himself is in another dimension that ONLY kakashi can access.. and if you manage to dodge the chain on your first MISTAKE then u have 3 seconds or whatever to land a counter attack.. its a childs style

who said he knows madara? madara referenced the jutsu user, that doesnt mean he knew who he is in specific other than just the jutsu user...

Well, first I think the Kurama attack was some years after the war. Kakashi and Gai were adult or close to adult.

3 Mizukage probably was controlled by madara. in Kisames flashback we saw long hair, just as Madaras.

But what bothers me is Obitos change of mind.

I got another theory. Madara copied Muus jutsu to split, this is how he got away from Hashi. As it is an actual Body, I also can Imagine, one can be revived by Edo Tensei, while the other is alive. Such as Muu got sealed and was still there.

Oro also plays a role in there. Maybe Madara, or one Part Madara which survived copied Oros jutsu of bodytransfere. And used Obitos body.
