dude zetsu knew hu he was and read it properly zetsu himself tells everyone to let him in
n he acted like that bcoz no1 in akatsuki except kisame and zetsu knew hu realy is tobi and he is the main leader........tobi acted like a fool to deceive others

Well this particular page doesn't prove that Zetsu didn't know who he is. Also they didn't know if anyone might be around, as you see later when they are looking for deidara.

Kishi could simply explain it as if they were acting.

Also Zetsu might know who Tobi is underneath the mask, but with the mask on he didn't realise... Even if Zetsu is a brilliant censory type, well Tobi is so mysterious and apparantly is able to pull some trick even on that... (plot no jutsu)

These chapters made it obvious obito has a split personality that's why he says good kid he referee to obito being a good boy it was the first hint. He knows who it is wtf am I missing here

i got over the tobi identity (coz maybe it will be explained well later), and about what is going to happen, i have a feeling that madara has a hand in all this (deeper than we think) coz in chapter 560 when he was revived he talked of tobi as if he knew him and his plan so .... guess we will have to wait and see

Kishi's style is always to do a reveal but then provide additional clues while everyone is distracted with the reveal. Two panels dipicting Minato's special Kunai are not pertinent to Obito's story except to remind you that Kakashi probably still retains this momento. Gee, I wonder if there is another seal out there someplace? Perhaps that would be a useful tool. As for Kishimoto showing us a telephone pole to indicate the passage of time, I don't think that is as effective as the changing seasons that he had already shown.

I find it humorous that so many folks actually believe that Kishimoto would make such obvious errors when revealing details about a character that he has been asked about over the course of several years. I might be inclined to believe this myself, if this were some random chapter of filler, but this is a climax event, Tobi's Identity. Notice how sharp the Obito flashback artwork is? This was not drawn in a few days time to present to the publisher. You don't make errors with something like this. We are talking about a culture with a penchant for perfection.

Ahhh... the dangers of near-obsessive fandom. The revered author makes an error, the fans over-analyze the error, the author creates some mumbo-jumbo to explain the error, and the fans call the author genius.

I guess Orochimaru's return was also not random aye? Was the scene with Sasuke/Itachi/Kabuto a filler, yet it ended in Sasuke pulling out Orochimaru's supposedly sealed soul out of Kabuto's butt?

But granting the gunbai was actually a receiver from another time, from the person who has the other Rinnegan..., or the whole Narutoverse is but a gargantuan genjutsu, now what? Shall we hand Kishi a pulitzer for putting those brilliant subtle clues?

I read Naruto for what it is, a weekly comic book. Ninjas and hand seals are cool, but that's all there is to it. Weak plots and weak characters are to be expected. There are of course some occasional moments of artful and imaginative story lines, but in manga with a huge fan-base and weekly demand, I doubt the author could keep-up and publish what he had in mind originally.

Oh yeah, the truth is that the 'obvious error' in 599 is just a marketing ploy.

On the "You are.. Obito?" I'm well aware that's just a question from a shocked Kakashi.

It's the narrative on the bottom that I'm concerned with.

All I'm saying is that based on what you told me your beliefs are, that the name is determined by the consciousness. Why would you have any reason
to doubt Obito is Tobi? Besides believing Kishi is just trying to trick you

All in all that's my point, everyone anti Obito just wants to believe Kishi is attempting to fool them in some way, and not because anything real points to it, but instead because they want to believe it.

The narrative said his name is Obito. When Orochimaru controls a body I still call him Orochimaru because its his consciousness in a body. However, the panel just showed Obito's face without any response from 'Obito' himself. I will only be able to tell if its Obito's consciousness when he addresses it himself. There are several reasons to believe its not Obitos consciousness, this being one:

After last chapter, you really want to know what I'll do? Simply be satisfied and be excited for next week. After 599 I have come to terms anything can happen, so I am excited to see how crazy it's going get, a lot of loose ends will be tied shortly only to make things a lot more interesting.
