You guys are all wrong by saying that Obito wasn't born before the Mizukage's body being controlled...
Kisame = 32 years old (when he died) = (+/- a year or two) Kakashi's age = Obito's age
When the Mizukage was being controlled Obito would be anywhere from 15-25, which is a pretty acceptable age. And besides, who said it wasn't Madara anyways.

Obito would be 9 years old......... He "died" at 13.

Kisame was two years older than Kakashi & Obito.

says who? and dont say the data book, because for all you know he coulda used the ages of everyone at the start of shippuden, its not like people dont age. for all we know he 13 before gaiden, 15 in gaiden, and 17 during tha attack on the leaf, i fail to see where it was determined, by kishi, how old they were at what point.

What do you get when subtract 16 years from 30 years, yes, you get 14 years old. What age did Obito die? The day he unlocked the Sharingan and became a Chunin.. Yes, that's 13 years old..
Leaving one year in between the events of Kurama's attack and Obito's death.


Ages are given in the databook for a reason, so us as the reader of the manga could correctly trace back the time of the events. And Kishi's always stayed consistent up until now with it.

True... Those with implanted eyes can't deactivate it. So that does lead to Nagato's eyes being transplanted since Madara can freely deactivate & switch between normal and EMS at any time..

well nagato never did turn off his rinniegan thou, maybe he was givin it? also in the story where he activated it, wasnt two leaf ninja attacking his home? killing his mom and dad? maybe madrara pulled a leaf outa batman's book and made a super villin for s*** and giggles?

The fans would go NUTS if Sasuke were to do that.

but sasuke never had his life flash before when seeing boulder falling on top of him maybe when he was buried by the other boulders he awakened it, and if he really is the man villain then why not? i mean his ability is op, you cant deny that.

no i guesstimate my ages from facts in the manga, and some things from the databook, however the book is not good for ages, proof is that there are these plot holes. the only reason kishi made one was money. also i heard hes making a newer updated databook so wait for that to get some ages.

Obito is at least 3-4 years older than Kakashi though,
Kakashi graduated the academy at 5, while Obito did so at 9
and for them to be in the same team they had to have graduated at the same time.

I believe that whoever the fake madara was, passed on his thoughts and goals to obito, who he rescued that day at the war. Naruto is known for people passing on their ideals to others, who do everything to see it through so i believe Obito is the real guy but just a pupil.

Kurama was sealed throughout the duration of Obito's life, so when was the contract made (the one that Minato nullified)?

There are crux events that don't change that are necessary to establish the loop. This could also be an explanation for the rampant memory loss in Narutoverse. Hanzou forgetting folks names, Jiraiya realizing he's Naruto's Godfather, Orochimaru invents ET then Tobirama. All just hints as to what is really happening.

Obito's only SEVEN MONTHS older than Kakashi.

Stop making up your own fxcking facts, and follow Kishimoto's official databook plus the timeline of events prior to Naruto's birth.

I think there is definitely something to this birthday/blood type/weight connection with Obito/Tobi and Izuna, much more than a simple coincidence. At the very least it is to show the parallels between them (Both gave up their sharingan for a cause they supported). At most it can suggest the possibility of Izunas soul or spirit somehow using Obitos body as a "vessel" (of course with the help of Zetsu and possibly Oro if it gets really involved).

I personally think this is far from over, and we only know what is at the surface of Tobi's identity. I do not, however, dismiss Obitos involvement - he is very much involved for obvious reasons, esp Tobi's split personality issues. However, Kishi will have to pull out a much deeper motive than the one Obito 'died' with because otherwise it wont make sense. :/

WOW! Why is everyone getting so pissed?! First and foremost, you people who are mad that Tobi is Obito need to relax. It is a good thing Tobi is Obito because it raises more questions, prolongs the manga, and makes the reader question what is a real. That is the mark of a good storyteller.

Why would Tobi be Izuna? Why would Tobi be some mystery shinobi never introduced so late into the series. Everyone that matters in the series has been introduced already. Tobi is Obito, so let's just deal with it.

Everyone who is making up their own Naruto facts out of disbelief that Tobi is Obito... just STOP! Read the databooks, go to Naruto wikia and read up on the characters. The site is made by the community, but it is pretty accurate. Obito "died" at age 13. The Fox attacked a year later. Obito would have been 14. Naruto is currently 16. Since the fox attacked 16 years ago, Obito would be 30, same age as Kakashi. Read the Databooks and do the math. 16+14=30; 30-16=14; 30-14=16. Not that hard, people. 16 is Naruto's age; 14 is the age Obito was or would have been if he lived when the fox attacked; 30 is the age Obito currently is 16 years (NARUTO's AGE) after the fox attack.

And why are people complaining about plotholes? There are no plotholes with Tobi being Obito. Kishi just hasn't had the chance to explain how Tobi is Obito yet. Give the man a chance to explain (WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTERS).

I can't believe so many people are taking Tobi's unmasking so hard. Give Kishi a chance to explain how Tobi is Obito before making up false facts.

Theories are well and good, that is what Kishi wants his readers to do. He wants everyone to be thinking. Making up false facts is not well and good.

Again, there's no evidence about him being 14, but let's assume your nonsense is true and he was 14, so what? Naruto has been cheating his way out of fights with the Kyuubi ever since he was 13. And at 16 he's mastered it to a whole different level than Obito could ever have. When you're a Uchiha and know the right jutsu to do it, what's stopping you from doing so?

I noticed some people say Obito can't be Tobi because he looked like an adult when he attacked the village while Kakashi was still small at the time. Some say Obito should have been around Itachi's age.

However, when you actually watch episode 248 and skip to around 9 minutes, Kakashi and Guy look very close to adult size and have their adult voices already. The next scene shows Itachi who look much younger than Kakashi and Guy.
