+rep this is what iv been saying this whole time. and this "timeline". first off if he had to be 14 at that time, which he dosent he could be 16 like naruto is now. if he was 14 you ask how was he so tall? he fused with zetsu thats why, it made him taller because he was shorter then zetsu when they fused. and what you said was right on the dime about the fourth hokage v tobi fight because if he was the same skill level now as then, team naruto woud of wiped the floor with him waaaaay before now prolly. he prolly only just awakend his ms and whatever the shock was, it was so great it made him come up with a fast plan he could pull off to destroy the leaf. also remeber he did want revenge on the uchia to, when he grew his hair out, to look like madrara, to control the fourth muziekage. so what did the uchia due to piss him off is what i want to know. maybe punishment and banishment for giving his eye away?

Ive got another crack pot theory then im all out...Could the "Madara" Itachi met before the massacre (with the Madara like long hair) not have been...Madara?? Summoned by Orochimaru(Who was in ties with Danzo)?

This may sound stupid but I think the flashback in the manga wasn't really what happened but what Obito wanted to happen. I think Obito was involved with Madara or someone else before the incident it's self aswell.

Ummmm I doubt it cuz that "Madara" is the same "Madara" that controlled the Mizukage, which was now identified to be this Tobito character. It's POSSIBLE, but all evidence point to it all just being Tobi, as weird as this long haired Tobi is.
And btw, you ever find the chapter I referred you to?

@ this point in the manga where it hasn't been 100% confirmed its obito, you might as well say Yahiko was Pain and laid waste to konoha...
all the flashbacks in 599 just proved that obito was will of fire 101

i swear Tobi is Tobirama(followed will of hatred),he created edo tensai (tested kabuto when asked about how to stop edo tensai), hated his brother Hashirama (when Tobi talked to naruto during summit arc) a few chapters ago Tobi stated "he found" that sharingan meaning he found obitos body, obito being a uchiha, Tobirama being a Senju explains how he got both dnas (During Konans fight with him) and its all gonna be explained in the next 5 chapters

Right now tobiramas sitting off somewhere using the paths of pain tech on obitos body controlling him, thats why Obito body has 1 sharingan and 1 rinnegan......+ obito body is related to zetsu somehow and we all know zetsu can change how he looks like charka bs(turning into neji)

and **** it i just wanna see Naruto and Sasuke fight again don't know why so many ppl care about obito being tobi, if you've been reading naruto to see who tobi is and gonna quit because its not the person you wanted him to be your a ****ing retard, if Naruto and Sasuke don't fight at the end thats something to drop it for...

who new tobi is obito from day 1

i first thought tobi was obito when he around the time he was with diedira. because, we didnt know how obito "died" or the backstory of obito. but we knew what side eye he had and which one he didnt, and where it was. then we found out about the back story and how he got half crushed by a boulder, and noticed tobi had pins in that same side of body. i was convinced he was obito before he said he was madrara. this is why it was so exciting for me, and prolly kishi because he knew every hint and breadcrumb he was leaving and was building up the whole of shippuden to this very moment, and for those of us who have noticed it is just as exciting.

great chapter, i laugh in the faces of those that pretended as if they know it all and disqualified Obito as a tobi candidate. Lol
now i forsee 3 or 4 more chapters of what happened to Obito, remember what happened during the Kabuto vs Uchiha brothers fight, 4 boring weeks of Kabuto's history that no ome was interested in.
The same could happen, only that this tym it Obito/Tobi.

only this time it will be interesting and worth it.

So how do you explain on Chapter 599 when obito was looking at the hokage mountain and minato was there???? WTF minato didnt even become hokage till after obito died.. explain that to me please.. and yes obito would be 14 at the time of the konoha attack, if you didnt notice naruto is 16 and kakashi is 30 and obito and kakashi is about the same age, so subtract 16 from 30 he would be 14. and of course how could obito unlock his eye within a year of his "death"??? and how can he look about the same age as minato when they fought, and yes of course he got his ass kicked but still he was able to give minato a hard time? so are you saying that obito was able to earn his Mangekyou and mastered it and able to have a Growth spurt from his clumsiness to hokage level, learn to control the kyuubi and trick everyone to thinking hes madara uchiha. Minato was his teacher dont you think he woulda notice that its obitos chakra??? Man your theory doesnt make since in a way.. but still give you props for trying though, but yea tobi just happens to be obito, im not saying he's not im just saying that kishimoto better have a good explanation to all of this apparently hes changing the story a bit around now... but hey this is his anime, so cant complain but just see what he can come up with to make all of naruto fan see how can this be explain.. but still confuse on how minato was already on the hokage mountain when he didnt become one till after obito died...

I just think both of them lived similar lives when they were younger(naruto,obito),but how they turned out to be was different.Naruto prevailed,while obito went into the darkness(just a thought),and now obito wants the Naruto world to end,cuz he thinks its useless!

+they both had goggles in the begining
+they wear the same colors(obito blue and orange,naruto orange and blue)

More to my belief,i think this happened when Orochimaru was with Akats. HERE the pact was formed that, Itachi would play along, so long as the leaf were not attacked, nor Sasuke bothered....Possibly could be the reason Oro left. Wanted to go after Sasuke (after failing to get Itachi)......

Tobirama died when Sarutobi was chosen......Obito had to have been a child at that time...........also he was reaper death sealed during the chunin exams....you need to explain some things sir
