It is not my purpose to make a revolutionary thread about tobis identity and whether he is obito or not. I just want to get the facts straight. Most of you will have noticed it but there are hundreds of threads about "OMGOMG TOBI IS OBITO" or "YOU STUPID BASTARD, HE CAN'T BE OBITO!". The only hint Kishi gave us is that kakashi and tobi both have one eye of obito. The MS eyes of one person are obviously not the same. one eye is "aggressive" and the other is skilled in defensive and more complex techniques. For example amaterasu vs. tsukuyomi. So kakashi got the "aggressive" eye and tobi the other one. tobi could be obito or could just have stolen the eye, we know nothing about him which points exactly in obitos direction. he just has one of his eyes and knows something about kakashis title (hero with the sharingan).
This is just a theory but I think that kakashis MS was activated the moment Tobi did. If the eyes are obitos eyes, they are connected. We know that you have to do or feel horrible things to activate the MS, things kakashi would never do. But one day (confrontation with deidara after the kidnapping of gaara) he just had MS and used kamui. I think tobi activated his MS in the traditional way and the moment it was activated kakashis eye did too. This is just a theory and we don't even know if tobi has MS (we know it to 99.99999999%).
