tobi is weird

Guys when tobi took off his mask to show sasuke, but instead caused sasuke to use amaterasu because of itachi's programming code. Couldn't tobi just instead deactivate his sharingan and then take off his mask.:shrug:

His sharingan is implanted, that's for sure. IMO he is Rikudou sennin or the elder son, it looks like he can use the Rinnegan much better than Nagato did - just take Gedo Mazo as a example
